The room had not been cleaned for many years, the walls had many stains, the windowsill had many greasy fingerprints. The location is central but there isn't much to do in Hotan. The interests are out of town. We visited in October 2015.

This could be a decent choice but the hotel suffers from a bad central AC system. The amount of cold air delivered is tiny and does not cool the room down. If your room is facing the street it will be in shade late afternoon. You can open the window and cool it down enough for sleeping (if stripped to...

The hardware is fine. It is nice. They did not turn on the central AC because they did not think it was hot enough. Hetian is very dust so it was a drag to open the windows. Breakfast is fine. People are not very friendly. Not a lot of choices in town so I would probably go back.

The hotel is nice and clean, the restaurant serves good food and you'll sleep in a soft bed. The receptionists don't speak English but they can connect to someone who does. If not, they'll use their English language apps on their phone.

West Lake hotel, Hilton brand. Probably equivalent to 3 star Europe, 4 star China. Our room was on 10 th floor. Large room with large, somewhat hard bed. Easy chair with footstool, and desk with chair. Huge window to bathroom, but has blind. Doorway to room looked a bit tired with tendency to stick, some cracks in stone in bathroom,...

Clean rooms, good wifi, honeste breakfast : this the definition of a good hotel in west China and it is ok. However if you expect english service, non smoking rooms etc, then you are in the wrong hotel. Nit sure you can find better in the city which is not a very touristic place.

One of the few "western" hotels in Hotan, Xihu is basically average. Positive is that it is centrally located and the hotel does a good job of keeping the place clean in all of its meaning: no dust in corners, no stains on sheets, no streaks in bathroom, etc. But clean here merely becomes antiseptic. The place has no soul....

Service was very bad the room smelly and nobody speaks any English. The shower doesn't work the bed uncomfortable. To top it all off they tried to steal from me 150$ by bogus charges on my room and overcharge the room rate. So if you must stay at this hotel make sure you button up your pockets. 1 The AC...

Xihuyingdu hotel is described as the trendiest and newest hotel in Hotan. Though I was not expecting much, reality failed to satisfy me. Hotel staff is clearly undertrained and speaks NO English at all, even basics (numbers, greetings…). I let you imagine how the check-in went on… About the facilities, well… The room was large enough, furnished in a business-style...

A friend and I stayed 3 nights in a standard twin room in this hotel. This property was described to us as one of the newest in town as well as one of the most upmarket. I was therefore expecting a good hotel. The room was decently-sized with an OK bathroom and quite a comfortable bed. However, a rather unpleasant...
