Schrute farms, quite simply, is the premier agro-tourist attraction! A genuine pastoral experience. The lodgings are delightfully rustic, the beet wine is top flight, and the company is nothing short of memorable! Mose's table making session is HIGHLY recommended !

There's something about Schrute Farms, the number one supplier of beets in the western hemisphere. It's rather like a place we have back home called Rilley’s Farm in Oak Glenn, California. The owner of Schrute Farms, Dwight Schrute, told my husband and I that he had actually met the Riley’s at the Regional Agro Tourism Finals. He then went on...

After hours of online searching for the perfect B&B for my sister and I, I happened upon Schrute Farms. I was excited to call and speak directly with the owner himself. This was my first, and probably best, impression of the Farm. While making reservations I asked if I was allowed to bring pets, as my sister often likes it...

As you pull up to the beet farm you will be asking yourself what century is this. The 9bedroom 1bath farmhouse will startle and amazed you. It has all the amenities of a 5 star Farmhouse plus the personal attention of a top notch ICU. They offer a broad range of activities (you will want to stay a few extra...

Having lived in cities all my life, I thought a stay at Schrute Farms sounded like an opportunity to experience the authentic and quaint features of beet farm life. Based upon my visit here I would recommend that nobody should ever attempt to be an actual farmer. For example, my stay at Schrute farms included a Catch-Your-Own Dinner feature. Unfortunately,...

I was actually out looking for the Stalk Inn; they have wonderful asparagus there. I accidentally made a wrong turn and found myself at Schrute Farms. When I arrived, the owner, Dwight Schrute, was not available. His cousin, Mose, told me he was at work. While we waited, Mose showed me how to make a table and how to till...

Ach du leiber! I have come to America to visit mein nephew, Dwight Shrute. I must say that Shrute Farms is exactly like the beet farm upon which I have grown up in my youth. I was just in time for the annual Shrute Farms Octoberfest. We brewed the tradional beet beer and danced all of the old dances. Mein...

When I booked my stay at Shrute farms, I expected it to be grotesque and unatainable, but I was pleasantly surprised. I wished that I could have stayed longer! It was an enjoyable trip with an enjoyable staff!

My family had the best time at Schrute Farms! The host, Dwight was his name, took us hunting at 4am Saturday morning, and I got 7 squirrels! (He only got 3 because he was using some strange contraption that shot spuds which was not as effective as shotgun scatter =) He was on the moody side when we first got...

With all the amenities a comfy, quaint, and lovely little Pennsylvania beet farm could have, Schrute Farms is the only place I will spend my autumn vacations. I've never seen such displays of artistic and eclectic talent as can be boasted of humble Mose's table-making demonstration and kindly Dwight's homey decor. My suggestion to any prospective visitor: root for Schrute...
