I stayed at Settler's Inn for one evening and was very pleased with my experience. It's easy to find - right off 6 and close to town and area attractions. The wine selection was wonderful and perfectly aligned with the piano player and wonderful fireplace. My room was perfect - great for getting needed rest.

As a frequent visitor to Woodloch Pines and Woodloch Springs, my family knows the Hawley/Honesdale, PA area well. This time, we decided to try the nearby Settlers Inn in Hawley and were pleasantly surprised! Rooms were spacious, comfortable and immaculate. The Inn was decorated nicely for Fall with warm fire going in the lobby. We appreciated the wine and free...

We stayed in Room 101 -- I believe it may have been the largest room but it was exactly what we needed --- a sleeping area and a living-room area. The outside deck/sitting space was a plus. The amenities were first rate and the bed exceptionally comfortable. We enjoyed the few dinners we had at the Inn and especially liked...

Nice hotel located off Main Street. Lovely wood trim all over the hotel. Easy check in and taken to our room on second floor. No elevator so be aware of that. Our room was very clean yet small. Very comfy queen bed, flat screen TV and love seat. Breakfast was included. Fancy named food but basically bacon and eggs with...

A richly atmospheric inn with beautiful wood beams and a stunning garden in the rear. Most of all, the food is sensational, with simple but brilliantly prepared dinner and breakfast. If not too cold, you can dine on the veranda overlooking the garden. Exceptionally friendly service, too. The rooms are very comfortable with nice beds, though the cheapest rooms are...

My wife and I stayed two nights recently and found the Inn to be delightful in every way. The room was spacious and clean. The back porch overlooking the beautifully landscaped yard made us feel like we were in the privacy of a private estate. The breakfasts were served in a charming restaurant with white table linen. The check in...

We spent a beautiful Saturday night dining on the back porch overlooking the gardens. Service was adequate but food was amazing. I had the scallops which were a little salty as previous reviewers had mentioned but not overpowering. Pesto risotto was yummy. Should have skipped the corn bisque which was a little bland. My husband's pork tenderloin with cherry compote...

First class dining and rooms. Staff is wonderful and the surrounding town and area has plenty to do for a weekend away.It is more couples oriented but kids I believe are welcome. If you like to horseback ride that is in the area as well as tubing down the laxawaxeen river.
