My husband and I stayed here one night during a road trip, deciding to eschew the hotels by the side of the highway. This place has charm and character, and our room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was clean, but the wallpaper has seen better days. The indoor pool was popular with families, and the workout room is well-equipped....

The hotel had a strange smell throughout the building. The rooms are large and clean, however the smell was even more distinct in our room. The furniture and decor were both outdated. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool looked very nice and the location of the hotel was very convenient.

My wife and I traveled to Lake Erie annually, and usually stay here. Something awful has happened here. This year we booked this hotel through TripAdvisor. As we went to the room the smell of moldy dampness was all through the hallway. The room itself was moldy, the top cover on the beds were damp (we wouldn't even put our...

Older property, appears to be a refurbished Holidome. One room suite was very comfortable, well equipped and clean. Desk staff and housekeeping people were excellent. Perfect location with good restaurants nearby, and easy access to Presque Isle.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and the rooms were large and clean. The bathroom was large and spotless with a good shower. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. - basic eggs, waffles, sausage, fruit etc. The rooms by the pool looked great for families. Would stay again.

This was our second stay at this hotel. We stayed last year and decided to come back again this year. Our room was clean except for the empty chip bags we found under the bed. In this hotel, the carpeting in the hallways are stained and the hallways always smell like farts, but the room we stayed in was clean....

This hotel provided exactly what we were looking for, a clean an comfortable bed in close proximity to Presque Isle State Park. I will definitely plan on booking here for future visits. Front desk staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

We stayed here the night before taking our kids to Waldameer Park. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The beds weren't that comfortable. We used the pool in the evening. It was a great size, but crowded for a Monday and full of strands of hair...gross. In the morning we went for breakfast in the...

The floor plan in this hotel is like a maze; I had to go back to the front desk and ask for help in finding my room. The first room I was given was unacceptable, so I asked for a room change. The second one was little better, although closer to the elevator. The furniture was outdated, the linens were ripped,...

Our family and four other families stayed at the Clarion for two days. We booked a total of 5 rooms. We were happy that the hotel was very close to the amusement park and Presque isle with very nice beaches and plenty of things for the kids to do but the hotel itself really need some help. The rugs in...
