HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 15 March 2017

Stayed here this past Monday night when there was a bad winter storm predicted. It was so nice to sit in the hot tub and enjoy the night. Good mattress and room. Television had plenty of stations to watch so we could keep track of the storm.

Check in was not friendly. Desk clerk stated rules of hotel before anything else. Hotel needs to be badly updated. Rooms and hallways dark and dingy. Pool was average. Breakfast buffet was poor. I would stay somewhere else next time I go to Erie.

We stayed one night again at the Clarion in Erie Saturday March 4th, had room 304. No complaints about the room at all...very clean, comfortable and all the amenities worked just fine. The last time we were here, in the fall of 2016, there was a big sign in the lobby announcing the upcoming remodeling of the whole hotel over...

The place is showing its age but was pretty nice for the money. We thought the pool was dirty. The breakfast buffet was not free and looked like a tornado had hit it. Stuff was spilled and the tables were a mess. The waffle maker was disgusting.

This is always our go to get away spot. I'm thinking of finding a new one. The shower was a trickle. Seriously the worst shower ever, and I spun it around and what not. The hair dryer was broken. Stained red carpet under the fridge. The coffee center was out so I told the front desk and she told ME...

Stated there over night to have a girls night out in Erie. Went to the comedy club down town and enjoyed ourselves. The hotel was amaze and sometimes we got lost trying to get from our third floor to the cafe and front desk. The breakfast for five dollars was pretty good and cheap ad the hotel staff was decent.

This hotel is older, and while still nice, it is a bit worn. The room was adequate, but the coffee maker didn't work. Basic room - nothing remarkable about it. The best part was the breakfast buffet - a hot buffet with eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, waffles, cereal, fruit - all you could want - for only $5.00 per person....

We were at the Clarion for an event. Made reservations for the weeks event and needed to stay an extra day to rest up from the week. Staff were wonderful. Hotel was being decorated for the Christmas holidays, beautiful is all I can say. I would recommend the Clarion to anyone, I will be back.
