It is 6.8 miles away as the crow files, but if you drive its about 11 miles! Really easy back road, we were there for new years eve and it took maybe 10 minutes. The closest area is the Northern back entrance, use that one you will end up in the same parking lot anyway.
It's $20 for premium parking and i wish we would have done that, if not and its busy you have to wait for a school bus to take you to the lifts.
