Mary's Parker House is a delightful large home that she has designed for any group that wants to get off the beaten track and enjoy the quietude of the valley. The house has plenty of bedrooms(7), plus wonderful spaces to congregate inside (solarium) and out (patios and porches). Plus, there is the River's Edge restaurant next door that serves delicious...

Our group of 5 was doing an overnight biking trip from Pittsburgh to Cumberland, MD, and the The Parker House in Confluence was about halfway. The property and its proprietor Mary were a welcome sight after a long day. The guest house was very spacious in terms of the rooms and common areas. The bike shed behind the house made...

Mary maintains the perfect B&B. The house is spacious with lots of common areas to congregate. The rooms are also spacious, new and meticulously maintained. In a word, "Wow". Mary no longer provides breakfast. The breakfast choices in town are limited after Labor Day.

It feels disingenuous to call this a B&B since it only has one B but that B was great. Comfortable rooms, nice showers, and plenty of sitting areas and books so you can relax after a day on the GAP. The town's pretty small so it's not hard to get something to eat. Good shed for your bikes so you...

I agree with the other reviews about the Parker House, Quiet!!, Lovely, warm, clean, big room with nice bath...just what we wanted. You are on your own. Mary lives down the street. She has a Keurig coffee pot for breakfast, dishes, dishwasher, everything you need. One couple staying while we were there brought a take out dinner. We dined next...

Just off GAP trail, this B&B is cozy, clean, and spacious. There is a Keurig machine for morning but no breakfast. Good restaurant next door for lunch or dinner. Very peaceful, relaxed setting. Mary the owner is not on site but she is accommodating. The kitchen, which is stocked, is available for guests to use.

We were doing the gap biking trail and stayed there. The owners are so nice and accommodating. They give full use of the kitchen. Bedrooms are incredible. Large, comfortable and air conditioned. Large sitting room where we could all meet up and chat.

Our bicycling group of 5 couples from Kansas City, The Freebirds (better than empty nesters, most all of our kids are graduated and gainfully employed, thus we are 'free') delighted in this property. We were fortunate to have the house all to ourselves. And a house! Great big rooms. Exceptionally clean, each with private bath. Safe, locked storage for our...

This a very clean cheerful guest house. Our room was huge and very comfortable. We were greeted by Mary and shown around. We had a delicious dinner across the street and fresh coffee in the morning. There were so many inviting public rooms if you choose not to relax in your room.

Big beautiful room very convenient to the GAP Trail. Mary makes you feel right at home. Let me rinse off our bikes and then provides a bike barn to securely store them. Comfortable room with very spacious bath. Close to several very good restaurants. Highly recommend.
