This grounds of the this inn are stunning. The innkeepers truly have a green thumb and know how to create a sanctuary for those seeking solitude and peace. The Inn itself is stately but quite cluttered and dusty. This doesn't appeal to us so that was uncomfortable. Our room was also uncomfortable because it was too hot. I believe the...

Thank you so much for your compliment on the grounds, if you like them in February, you can imagine what they are like in Spring, Summer and Fall. I'm sorry that you felt the inn was dusty, my housekeeper is constantly praised on her skill, so perhaps she forgot to dust your room and I apologize for that. Some people...

A lovely and restful stay in a most authentic Inn from 1714. Gentle warm innkeepers and hospitable staff made my experience welcoming. Cozy fireplaces, nooks and crannies filled with artwork, sculpture and an ambience like waking up in a scene from "Rip Van Winkle". Wonderful!

We really enjoyed our two nights at Pennsbury Inn. They were very accommodating to our party of six and fed us delicious breakfasts. We were there during winter, but the grounds look to be beautiful in the warmer months. During the winter, though, you can enjoy sitting by the fire of the kitchen hearth. The Inn is lovely and historic,...

Julie, we are so glad that we have five parlors so that a group like yours can take over one of them and not feel like they're putting any other guests out. You definitely should have another reunion, here, sometime between April and September, when my 4 acres of gardens are in full bloom. By the way, it's easy to...

First time staying at a B&B. Hesitant when we first entered, very nice welcome reception from Cheryl who showed us room and amenities which never stopped coming. Room was warm, cozy and very clean. Breakfast served by Chip prepared by Cheryl was delicious with a variety each day. Tucker added to the warmth of this very enjoyable stay. Highly recommend

Tucker, our friendly Havanese, is a feature in many our reviews. He loves everyone and guests respond to that happily. I'm so happy that you were pleased with your first B&B visit and wish you many more. We hope you'll visit here again as well, as every season, brings new treasures to investigate.

The Pennsbury Inn - Every comfortably-furnished room is extensively decorated for Christmas by the innkeepers, Chip & Cheryl, reflecting their love of the Season. Great attention to the smallest of details (bedtime treats, cozy bathrobes, morning newspapers, canine concierge Tucker's warm greetings); the friendly homey surroundings; local tips/suggestions by the amiable innkeepers; and the delicious homemade breakfasts all made our...

Scott thank you so much for taking the time to share your comments. Keep in mind that the Pennsbury Inn is cozy, all year long. We hope that you'll come back to see the 4 acre gardens in bloom, this Spring, Summer and Fall.

We were upgraded to the Winterthur room w/ the beautiful Palladian window overlooking the lovely garden. Unfortunately, it was raining, so we didn't explore the outside, but everything was very comfortable. Cheryl brought us delicious homemade cookies in the evening. I turned the electric fire on in the morning to dress by--very cozy. Nice breakfast, including cappuccino, if requested. Good...

I'm so glad that you were pleased with your upgrade to the Winterthur Suite, nicknamed by many as the "ooo/ahhhh" suite. I'm sure that you can imagine what a spectacular view that window affords, on a sunny or even snowy day. I'm sure you understand that your next visit will need to be longer, with so many activities and attractions...

Chip and Cheryl were wonderful hosts to our wedding. We booked the entire inn for the weekend as I had many bridal party guests coming from out of town. Our family loved all the rooms and found them quite comfortable. The inn and grounds are highly memorable. Chip and Cheryl met with me multiple times at varying stages of wedding...

It was a true delight, sharing Annie & Jarred's wedding day. It was so beautifully planned and having the bride and groom's friends and family here for the weekend, allowed a good deal of relaxing and fun. We're so glad that they found our "gem" and that they remember to return for those all-important, anniversary celebrations.

The inn is well-maintained and clean, owners helpful with tips on dining. Gee, Carol, I'm so sorry that I wasn't welcoming, when you arrived early, but we only have from 11AM check-out until 3PM check-in, to clean up after breakfast, clean up to 7 rooms upstairs and all five parlors downstairs, do laundry, arrange flowers, answer emails, take reservations, send confirmations, and answer the phone. etc., etc., etc. I guarantee that if...
