We met friends here to tour the Gardens of Winterthur and Longwood. We stayed in the Spring House Suite 1 first floor which we highly recommend as it is away from the busy road. The deck off our room was supplied with rocking chairs and had a beautiful view of the meadow. The room was very charming and complete with fresh...

I recently took a short trip to this area for my birthday & stayed at the Fairville Inn. Rick & Laura & the staff were friendly & very helpful. My room (Carriage House 4) was lovely, especially the small balcony overlooking the garden. The food (breakfast) was delicious, with different options each of the 4 mornings I was there. The...

Beautiful grounds, pretty rooms, friendly service and yummy breakfast. I've always felt a little trepidation when booking a B&B, because of uneven experiences in the past. Quaint inns with rooms like closets, overdone froofroo hiding a worn out bed, quirky plumbing...But you won't have to forgo any modern comfort for the sake of charm at this inn. The Fairville inn...

We had been referred here by a few friends. They were correct. It is a charming place to stay. We chose the Springhouse as the room has a porch looking over the meadow and we like being able to be outside but private. The hosts, Rick and Laura, were extremely helpful answering all questions and guiding us to all the...

"Nina's Girls" gathered from Ohio, Indiana, CT, Washington DC for a weekend getaway to remember our precious Nina, one year after her passing. We stayed in two delightful suites in Springhouse with deck and beautiful views to connect us in this charming, beautiful place remarkably perfect for us to be together. The ambiance, special spaces, friendly, knowledgeable Inn Keeper and...

My husband and I had received a gift certificate from our kids for the Fairville Inn and we stayed for the past two nights. We just loved this Inn. Our room was comfortable, the breakfasts were tasty and the hosts, Rick and Laura, could not have done more to make our stay terrific. Their suggestions for attractions and restaurants were...

we cancelled our resevation at Montchanin because a groupon was offered for the FAirville. serendipity. It was perfect in every way, a lovely room with comfortable reading chairs and good lighting, firm bed with lots of pillows, good water pressure, quiet, attentive hosts, and oh boy can Rick cook! Every detail is tended to, thick towels, fire in the fireplace,...

Fairville Inn is conveniently located for when you are touring in the Chadds Ford area. Our guestroom and the public areas in the main house were clean, well-appointed and comfortable and not "fru fru" as many B&Bs can get. Our winter stay was enhanced by the fireplace in the main house (where we sat and read) and gas fire facility...

We love to visit B&Bs when we travel, and this is among the finest we have stayed in. Our room was good sized and well appointed, and the fireplace made us cozy. It was too cold to go out on the deck but for a few minutes, but it will be lovely once the weather warms. Our room was tastefully...

We met friends who have stayed here several times and reported to us that they have never been disappointed. We join them in agreement that this a nice place to stay when visiting the Brandywine region. We occupied the same room another guest criticizes in another post and we do not agree with those comments. Room is spotlessly clean, large,...
