Stayed here over July 4th weekend last year. I stayed in the carriage house. What a wonderful place. The property is fairly big and you can walk around a lot. It has a great location close, to everything like Long Wood Gardens, Winterthur, Nemours Garden and Hagley Museum. They also served a great breakfast.

My husband and I recently stayed at Fairville for 4 nights in the second floor Suite. The room is exactly as shown on the website. Only comment is that the sitting room is a great addition - much more so than indicated on web. If staying for more than one night, opt for one of the suite, if possible. The...

The Fairville Inn is as advertised on its website. The only surprises were pleasant ones: the warm and welcoming owners, the delicious breakfasts, the gorgeous green grounds, Ozzie the dog and the inn's proximity to Philadelphia (it's a quick trip) and to so many attractions, including Longwood Gardens, the Wyeth museum, Kennett Square and several fine restaurants. Carriage House 1...

The rooms have always been spotless. Our favorite room is Main 1. It is so very cozy. We have stayed in almost every room...

Stayed upstairs in main house. Carpet on stairs going up is filthy. Room was marginally clean. Throughout you get a scent of cigarette smoke. When looking out the window in the a.m. we saw the Mr. Owner puffing away with his filthy, dirty sneakers on. The pictures look nice on line but the place is a major disappointment in person....

Everyone is entitled to their opinions – but that does not make them correct. Of the 251 reviews on Trip Advisor as I write this, only 7 (including this one) have been negative. The last negative review was 14 months ago. If this guest is right, 244 other reviewing guests are wrong. For the record, I do confess that I...

My wife and I stayed here when we went to Philadelphia to see a concert at Lincoln Financial Field. The ride to the stadium was about 40 minutes but we couldn't have made a better choice. We stayed in the Carriage House (Room 2) which is a beautiful room with a private deck.

My husband and I recently spent two nights at the Inn. We just went for a weekend get away. It was in a nice location near good restaurants, museums, wineries, and antique shops. Our room was in the main house and very cozy with a plush new rug. Enjoyed the breakfast. Friendly staff. We'll be back!

We recently stayed at this lovely B&B conveniently situated near many of the wonderful attractions in the Brandywine area. The hosts, Laura and Rick were welcoming and very helpful in making our visit to the area as enjoyable as possible. We had a first floor room in the main house with a walk out small deck. Clean room nicely decorated....

If you love history and great museums and gardens this area is a must see! The Fairville Inn delivers an experience that is perfectly consistent with the local environment. The facilities are well kept and the grounds are lovely. A very nice breakfast is offered.
