Germantown, Maryland

We didn't actually stay here but have been to the resort many times to ski/snowboard. The ski facilities are average and probably the best within a couple hours drive to where we live in Germantown. Much better than white tail, deep creek or round top but not as good as snowshoe in WV. fairly decent place.

My husband and I needed a quiet get away that was not too expensive. We got what we needed at this wonderful off season ski resort! There were only some golfers on site. It really felt like we had the entire place to ourselves.

It's a really nice ride in the mountains near Gettysburg to get to the hotel but when you arrive you see a not so nice looking white and kinda dirty looking hotel building where the office and some rooms are. After giving my name, I immediately asked if I would be in this building and they said no, you have...

Booked using Amex points and was assigned the crappiest room they have. Ground floor, no balcony. Smelled damp. When I asked for a different room I got the standard "sorry...all booked up..." Now I get to spend the night with smelly lacrosse equipment. Just what I was hoping for...

We visited on a weekend and it was the first time skiing for two of us in our group. We stuck to the beginner's slopes. It was crowded but we never had to wait too long for the lifts and the snow was good. It's definitely a great place for families and first timers and the staff is very helpful....

It was our first time at this ski resort. We thought we'd go up the night before, stay in the hotel, and then be right there for skiing the next day. It was only an 80 mile drive for us. They are doing some construction on a new facility, so parking for the hotel was very limited. The staff was...

The best thing about Ski Liberty is that it is only about 75 minutes from the Washington, DC area (Maryland suburbs, at least), so getting in your skiing fix truly can be a day trip. I've been here both during peak periods (MLK weekend) and mid-week, and it generally is a very well run resort. The lift lines at the...

Had a great time at Liberty! My son and I stayed and snowboarded for the learn to ski/snowboard package. Everyone at this resort is amazing! We felt like we were here with family and friends. Genuine smiles and helpful assistance in every turn. I am already planning to go back in February! Get a slope side room for a great...

This was our first time to ski and stay here. Hotel staff exceptionally nice. However no one cleaned our room. The parking for hotel guest is minimal. There are about 30 spaces in front of the hotel. If you are not lucky enough to get one of those, you have to park across the street where everyone who came to...

We apologize that you had an issue with you housekeeping during your stay. We are looking into this issue and hope you understand that your experience is not to the level that we hold ourselves to. As for parking we are in the process of building a brand new lodge that will be complete this summer and will offer much...

For a local resort, this is a fun place to go to ski! It's not big but it has a good diversity of trail difficulties which makes it fun. They usually have pretty good snow for it's location. Staff is friendly and lines were pretty short. And plus they opened in November!
