We live a little more than an hour from Libery Mountain and ski there often. With the addition of the new Highland Lodge, we decided to spend the night and get up early the next day to ski. Since it was a last minute decision, all rooms in the Highland were sold out. So we booked a room in the... More

We didn'the stay overnight here but we did the tubing and the skiing. Normally we ski in the Poconos but we met relatives her who came up from DC. Wide open beginner hills serviced by quad chairs and magic carpets for the real beginners. Tubing was lots of fun and very fast but the lines are long to get back... More

With snow in the forecast I decided to head up to Liberty to get a few runs in. While rainy in Bristow, that turned to snow as I passed the Point of Rocks bridge and was full snow at the mountain. I haven't been to Liberty Mountain in a few years, normally opting for Whitetail, but found the runs to... More

Wonderful new building with 17 guest rooms, conference facilities and two restaurants. Downstairs the salt water pool and spa are delightful. Stayed two weekday nights. Unfortunately, there was a large group with 10+ small children running through the foyer, playing soccer in the hallway outside the restaurant and leaving messes in the seating areas. We were very surprised that the... More

They just opened (fall 2015) a new lodge with a saltwater indoor pool, spa, and two restaurants. We went for a family ski weekend and it was fantastic. The service was amazing, from the hotel check-in staff to the waitress. Pleasantly surprised and will definitely go back!

Great way to spend half of a day off..... 40 minutes home to hilltop. Very friendly staff and on weekday/nonpeak..... no crowd. I have been skiing at Ski Liberty for over 40 years, ...... anybody remember "Charnita" ..... I learned to ski here and continue to enjoy the best little mountain .... close to home! Don't hesitate to check it... More

We went for an overnight trip to the resort for a family of four. Me and my husband who haven't been snowboarding in 10 years, plus wanted the boys (age 6 & 8) to have their first experience snowboarding. Went ahead and took advantage of their stay & play package, which consisted of and overnight stay, plus a pass for... More

We didn't actually stay here but have been to the resort many times to ski/snowboard. The ski facilities are average and probably the best within a couple hours drive to where we live in Germantown. Much better than white tail, deep creek or round top but not as good as snowshoe in WV. fairly decent place.

My husband and I needed a quiet get away that was not too expensive. We got what we needed at this wonderful off season ski resort! There were only some golfers on site. It really felt like we had the entire place to ourselves.

It's a really nice ride in the mountains near Gettysburg to get to the hotel but when you arrive you see a not so nice looking white and kinda dirty looking hotel building where the office and some rooms are. After giving my name, I immediately asked if I would be in this building and they said no, you have... More
