Had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful property, sadly for only one night. We are totally B&B people and this is certainly one of the best we have ever experienced. It begins with Carolyn and Tim. A warm and friendly welcome precedes a most helpful and informative guide to local sites and dining options. (Don't miss the wine shop...

Carlisle House B&B was one of our best experiences in a B&B for quite awhile. Carlisle House B&B is listed in the top 300 B&B in the USA (Select registry) and they do definitely live up to the high standards within the guidelines of their top ratings. Tim and Carolyn are one of the most gracious and accommodating host you...

We enjoyed our stay at Carlisle House very much. From the reservation all the way to our departure, Caroline was warm, friendly and helpful. We liked the location as we could walk to the shops and restaurants in Carlisle. Our room--the Hayes suite--was perfect for the three of us. Our teenage daughter appreciated having her own space. Lots of lovely...

Thank you for the kind words, hdh. It was our pleasure to offer a wonderful stay to your daughter on her first B and B experience. We feel our little area here is a gem for the same reason you mentioned, the walking distance to shops and restaurants. We have truly enjoyed being in an area where a car is...

My aunt and I stayed here in early January. It was the first time either of us had stayed at a B&B, so we were not sure what to expect. The house is absolutely beautiful. The owners, Tim and Carolyn, were extremely friendly and helpful. They made a great breakfast; my favorite was the baked pear with sauce and the...

I visited Carlisle House during a visit with friends. This charming house is located in a very neat, historic area near lots of intriguing little shops and restaurants. The pleasant owners were very welcoming but not overbearing (I've been to B&Bs where they were too involved to allow relaxation or on the extreme side - nowhere to be found). They...

WE loved this B&B located in the historic district within walking distance of many restaurants. The room decorated in period furniture had many appreciated details. The desk/table had a power strips for charging phones and computers. The shower had several spray options. We enjoyed a tasty buffet breakfast including a delicate spinach soufflé. Free parking was a plus as most...

Thank you, NewYorkCity, for visiting. We are glad to offer the amenities listed above. We know the power strips are important with all of today's gadgets and gizmos and also know that the jetted showers are important for added comfort, as well. Please come again and enjoy a different delicious offering for breakfast. Carolyn

Tim and Carolyn, the proprietors of this picturesque and charming establishment, provided my wife and me with one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating getaways we've ever experienced. They are both master conversationalists on topics ranging from history to cuisine, from genealogy to literature. Table talk at breakfast was delightfully eclectic: it could begin with the various traditions of Carolina...

Adorable B and B. The owners were born for this role. Great food and warm ambiance. I would recommend for anyone who loves charm and a hearty breakfast. It is also right in the historic district of Carlisle.
