My husband and I stayed at this lovely 1840's era B & B and we're very happy with our choice. The home was decorated in period furnishings, the wrap around front porch, fronting on Main Street, was comfortable, and the hosts were very accommodating. The breakfast they offered had many items to choose from, and the Linden Suite couldn't have...

Boalsburg is a lovely town, Springfield House well-located. Very close to State College. Bedroom, breakfast and host hospitality were excellent. Breakfast made to order by Bill! Very enjoyable visit. Highly recommended.

Staying here was beyond my expectations. Very kind and competent hosts. This BnB shows amazing attention to detail from the gorgeous fixtures in the rooms to the maintenance of a special atmosphere from another era, that of an early Boalsville and the location was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and custom to your needs. I never expected them to come in...

Large, clean rooms. Great service. Friendly people. Quaint town. Scrumptious breakfast. What more could you ask for!! The area was great to walk through. There was a tavern down the street and a couple of shops too. Seemed very safe and well kept.

Dad and I stayed for "Spring Break" in March and had adjoining suites: Oak Hill and Shingleton. They were SPLENDID! Beautifully appointed (LOVE the paint colors), cozy yet spacious, with very beautiful & comfortable furnishings. Breakfast was spectacular (and I am not even a 'breakfast person'). I've never put 'bacon' in a review...but it is review-worthy here at Springfield House!...

A quaint, quiet and pleasant stay. Great food, nice rooms and a cute town. The house is historical, but updated nicely. There are two sitting rooms for use by any occupant. Breakfast was great, and snacks and drinks are offered all day.

We stayed at Springfield House on our way to Philadelphia, and it was wonderful! Our breakfast was great and the historic tavern across the street was awesome for dinner! Would like to come back and stay in the area longer. Thank you!

WE have been staying with Bill and Cheryl for years. They have a wonderful Inn. Very cheerful and great breakfast. It is such a nice get away from the noise and craziness of downtown State College. Don't forget to check out their chocolate and wine shop next door

We are biking across the country and Boalsburg was one of our stops. By far the cutest stay of our travels. We loved the room, fresh cooked breakfast in the morning and having a glass of wine on the front porch! They recommended a restaurant right across the street and it was absolutely wonderful. It was just enough removed from...
