The only reason we stayed at this campground was because Ricketts Glen State Park's cabins were all booked. But I am happy to say our stay was very enjoyable, relaxing and peaceful. We rented the Green Cabin with the screened in front porch, which is a very typical mountain cabin; small and dated but warm and dry. A huge bonus...

We rented the green cabin over Labor Day weekend. The cabin was just as we expected, absolutely nothing fancy but everything that we needed (ie: a roof over our heads, beds, kitchen, bathroom, fire ring,) The cabin was reasonably priced as was also the firewood sold at the campground. The campground itself is quaint, somewhat charming, and was also family...

My fiancee, and a friend and his girlfriend, and I, all took a trip to the area. We went hiking at Ricketts Glen, and then drove a couple hours for Kittatinny Canoes. This seemed to be the most reasonable place to set up our tents. At $10/person, it was quite affordable. Tips that I have are.... Site 13 is quite...

I went tent camping here for a weekend and was highly disappointed. I was looking for a weekend to get away from it all, and that just didn't happen while at the campgrounds. The site was good but it was noisy from seasonal RVers and the traffic from the highways. If you are looking for a quite place in the...

We stayed at Red Rock Mountain Campground this weekend. What an amazing time of year to be up in the mountains. The foliage and the waterfalls were spectacular. It was our first time checking out Lake Jean, Ricketts Glen State Park, and that area in general. For our family of four (two adults, one teen, one child), it was $50...

My boyfriend and I visited Ricketts Glen State Park for the weekend and spent the first night camping in the park but had to find another place to stay our second night because the park was full. I am so glad that we found Red Rock and got to experience it for a night! The camp site is beautiful, imagine...

We stayed here with some friends this past weekend for my friend's birthday. We originally planned on staying at Ricketts Glen but they were sold out for the weekend and we were really happy to find this place! We picked one of the walk in campsites and we really enjoyed it. The walk was a little far with all of...

Everyone was very helpful and nice from the time I called to make reservations all the way through to the end of our stay. We stayed at a primitive site with just a fire ring and picnic table which was what we were looking for in a campsite. Our campsite was perfect for 2 tents and two vehicles. The bathrooms...

My husband and I stayed here with our two pups when we wanted to visit Rickets Glen states park. Unfortunately the state park campground was sold out for the weekend, so we stayed here instead. It was a unique experience. The campground has a mixture of seasonal renters (RVs that looked like they haven't moved in years), cabins, and camp...

My wife and I went here for our ten year wedding anniversary. We could of not asked for anything more perfect. The owner was nothing but nice. He had the heat in the cabin on before our arrival. A beautiful place with a must see corner store (Red Rock Corner Store) in walking distance from the campground. The store has...
