My sister and I were fortunate enough to make reservations for the Jean Bonnet Tavern B&B, so we were able to spend the night four days ago. The inn was built in the 1700's and all furnishings are depictive of that era. The inn itself is beautiful with the thick stone walls and massive fireplaces. There are only four rooms,...

This was the first chance we had to getaway all summer. We love old stone buildings and Jean Bonnet fit the bill. Love the history and ghost stories. Food was great and it didn't hurt that you could have a beverage or two and not have to drive. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. A word of advice, if you...

We stay overnight at Jean Bonnet Tavern every chance we get. In fact, we are staying there again next week on our way to Cape May, NJ. Love the rooms. Love the upstairs bar and restaurant. And love the breakfast in the downstairs restaurant. Only disappointment thus far is that we have yet to see a ghost. Boo!

I've stayed here at least a dozon time over the past six years, a perfect stop between my house and my sister's place. Food is always great as is the service. There is the 'standard' menu and then each month there is a changing monthly menu. So while you have the good ol' standby's, there is always something new to...

When my husband and I visit relatives in Virginia we always make time to stop here on our way back home to enjoy a meal at this quaint historic tavern in Bedford. The food is delicious and atmosphere is unique. Love the old stone walls and ceiling beams and large fireplaces. Someday we hope to stay overnight and explore the...

We wanted to stay the night, but they were booked :( So, we went for lunch in the tavern instead. We loved the atmosphere and the soups. I loved my chicken-strawberry salad. My husband did not love his asparagus. He sent it back, saying it was soggy. Not only did they comp it and offer to remake the dish, but...

We have visited Jean Bonnet Tavern many times throughout the past six years. First impression was really good, now not so good. No changes to the menu in years and lunches are very good but the portion size not so good. Would like to see more items and a more care to portion size and presentation.

A lovely and lively historic inn. We had a single meal there and it was perfect of a couples night out. Good food, good wine at reasonable prices made the evening one to remember. Definitely a place I would come back to. Next time I will reserve a room there too.

We ate dinner and stayed one night to break up our long drive. Service was excellent, friendly, and efficient. We stayed in room 2 with a gas fireplace. The room was cozy. A nice change of pace from modern hotels. The rooms do have TV but wifi and board games are available. The room included breakfast. A generous plate of...

The food was fantastic. Duck was tender the sauce was smokey sweet. Exquisite. Crab cakes were light and flavorful. Good beer selections l. The accommodations were fun. Nice old building, with slanted floors and charming shuttered rooms. Loved it.
