We cashed in an Amazon Local coupon to stay at this beautiful hotel! We had been through Wheeler on a previous trip to this part of the Oregon Coast. But we had no idea the jewel that was to be found within the walls of this grand old lady! The rooms are gorgeous and the welcome is warm. The breakfast...

My husband and I love historical buildings, and this hotel is not only located within one of the most beautiful small towns along our Oregon Coast, but it is ultra-charming and every attention to detail has been achieved. The interior of the hotel is drenched in lovely, inviting paint colors and there are antiquities throughout to help you feel like...

I was positively impressed when I arrived and stayed at the Old Wheeler Hotel. I knew it was nice, but not "that" nice. The decor and quality was very upscale and the warm reception by the hostess and owner was refreshing. I plan on returning and making this a standard place at the Oregon coast where I can kick back...

After finding an online deal, we decided to make a mother/daughter weekend out of the trip, and the two of us came and were enchanted the moment we opened the door. We loved our room (#3) and found we enjoyed the detached bath more than we thought we would. Everyone we've met and the ambiance of the hotel has been...

The hotel is perfect for a vacation focused on relaxation and enjoying the moment. The building has great character and charm and has been filled with antiques, so that it seems like you have stepped back in time. Many of the rooms have waterfront views, which add to the tranquility of your experience here. The rooms are quiet, the breakfast...

We stayed at the Wheeler hotel for 3 nights in Room 8. We were enchanted from the moment we stepped into the lobby. The decor was so charming and the hotel was so quiet and cozy. If you love antiques and the feeling of stepping back in time, you will love this hotel. They are very detail oriented as far...

We have stayed @ the OWH 3x now, & are writing this revue for the first time... Do we want people to find out about this place??? HMMM??!!! OK, Seriously, this is a most delightful spot to stop! It does not look like too much from the outside... But once you climb the stairs, or take the oh so sweet/old...

We truly enjoyed the charming & elegant decorations. Katie, our hostess added to the charm of her hotel. She is always available by phone if something is needed. It is right on Hwy 101 but is not noisy. The water is right out front. AAA only gives this hotel two diamonds, but it deserves three.

My last visit here makes me feel obliged to write this. I had stayed here a few times many years ago when the previous owners were in charge and was looking forward to returning. I saw that the hotel had changed hands but the current reviews were reassuring. Unfortunately, even though at first glance it seemed the same, the place...

We chose the Old Wheeler because of its reviews, and wish we could give it 6 stars. It is completely charming. The staff - Rain and Cynthia - was so friendly and welcoming. We were given a tour upon arrival, and had a personalized welcome note on our door. Our room, #1, was beautiful with big windows looking out at...
