The hotel was perfect and everything you would expect from a Comfort Inn. It was comfortable, clean, and spacious. Breakfast was complimentary and included waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, pastries and toast. We had a pleasant short stay. Everyone we crossed paths were friendly and accommodating.

This was my second time back to The Comfort Inn in Troutdale. My husband and I came here a few years ago and were so impressed with the little extras and the great customer service we wanted to come back. Rooms are clean and well kept and have all the amenities like ironing board, iron, fridge, microwave, hair dryer, coffee...

Thank you for returning to us and making the time for such a comprehensive review! The best feedback we can get is when a guest comes back because of a prior experience with us, and it's appreciated. Thank you for noting the rotation of the meat and eggs! - we have a lot of guests who stay with us for...

Great base for exploring the gorge. We were on a 7000 mile cross country tour and this was one of the hotels we would definitely stay at again. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was very good. Thanks Comfort Inn!

How nice to hear that we made the A list out of what had to be many hotels in 7000 miles! Thank you for making the time to review, and I will confess to a high level of envy of your road trip : ). We will see you next time you're this way! All the best, Loree loree@lodgingmgmt.com

We stayed here for a night to explore the gorge area. The room was clean, the front desk helpful, and the breakfast was convenient and filling. I recommend this as a place to stay when you need a clean, comfortable place to stay when you want to explore the rest of this area.

We're the perfect jumping off point, with the start of the Columbia River Scenic Hwy just half a mile from your bed, aren't we? Thank you for staying with us and making the time to write. I am most glad that we welcomed you well, fed you well, and slept your well. All the best, Loree loree@lodgingmgmt.com

We stayed here on a bicycle tour of the Columbia Gorge. The people who checked us in at the front desk were very friendly. They got us into a comfortable room right away, before standard check-in time. They went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed. The room was clean and quiet, and the...

Bicycle is such a lovely way to see the Gorge! I'm a hiker, rather than a cyclist, but I know that the new bicycle trail now extends clear to Cascade Locks (and still going), which is a wonderful thing. I am most glad that we were able to accommodate your request for an early check-in and took good care of...

The location of the hotel was very convenient with easy access to the interstate but wasn't noisy at all. As others have mentioned I was given an “all valuables have been removed” sign for my car on check-in but saw no signs of any issues. Check in was easy and staff were very helpful with any enquiries I had. The...

Thank you for noticing the quiet - it's not the quiet of your home on 40 acres, but we do have very good walls between and exterior, and are remarkably quiet for a suburban hotel. Noise complaints are usually neighbors who don't remember they AREN'T at home on 40 acres :). (A simple call to the front desk will result...

This is the perfect place to stay if you plan on hiking the Columbia Gorge. Not too far from Portland and minutes from great hiking and waterfalls. The rooms were nice and clean. We were travelling with pets too. Breakfast was decent and the front desk clerks were wonderful.

So glad to hear from someone else who travels with pets. It's a wonderful thing, and glad your friends could vacation with you. The staff at check-in and check-out were courteous and efficient. It's the right location to stay for the historic sites, shopping outlet and gas stations. Overall from the room of the hotel, the staffs and sorrounding area met our expectations.

This was just a quick overnight stay during an event at McMenamins. Yay for not drinking and driving! Thank you. The blankets (not down, for information to the feather-averse) can be a little warm in June, but boy are they cozy in December :).
