I have been staying at celilo inn for several weeks while I travel for work. The view and friendly staff is what keeps me coming back. One of the front desk workers, Paula, always greets me by name and is so helpful with make reservations. There is always fresh fruit with breakfast, and I love the outdoor patio where I...

A very nice boutique hotel in The Dalles. A 1950's style motel that has been very nicely renovated. Bed was very comfortable. The shower is very nice(instead of shower in bathtub). Mason at the front desk was very helpful. Our tv was not working, so he took time to come to our room and fix it. (cable had come unplugged)....

My wife and I visited The Dalles recently. The first thing I'd like to say is the staff was more than helpful. Paula was particularly friendly when I checked out so early in the morning. Our Queen room was small but very clean with a very comfortable bed. Hot water came through the pipes in the bathroom in an instant....

OMG. Great view, very nice room, friendly staff. Everything a hotel/motel should be. Bed was comfortable, TV was great, wi-fi worked well -- just a great stay. I would stop talking, but they say I have to say more!

I was not expecting such a well thought out and frankly sophisticated establishment in The Dalles. I had a king view room and was thrilled with the view, furnishings and amenities - simple, modern, tasteful. Visited the pool in the evening and watched hawks circling above as I floated on my back refreshing myself after a hot day. Office staff...

Checked on on a very hot day after a long drive. The lobby was very cool and the staff helpful. Our room was also very cool and welcomed. The great view was of the dam and bridge and the hills beyond. The bed was very comfortable. Our nice sized room had an easy chair and a small table with two...

Traveling to Montana, the hotel that was our first pick we saw it first from the freeway was booked. The Celilo Inn was suggested as an alternative. We were luckily sent to a great place. It is a refurbished old motel, and they have done a wonderful job. The location is very nice, the room was updated, clean, quiet, and...

I remember traveling the gorge and seeing the sign for this place as a kid. It was one of those old, tired, and very sad looking places. The owner has done an amazing job. Everything is clean, refurbished, and very comfortable. Our room was a wee bit small but that was to be expected (it was a "junior" in the...

We eventually found how to get to the hotel. It is situated on a hill overlooking the river and dam. Lovely clean and spacious rooms. We had a separate sitting room. The view was spectacular. There is an outdoor pool and a small gym. There is a guest laundry. You can have a drink in the reception and there is...

Spent the night here on 4 th of July on a cross country road trip when hotels in The Dalles were full. What a great discovery! Staff were great. The night clerk provided blankets so we could sit on the lawn and watch the firework display on the Columbia River below. At breakfast, Paula was super helpful, giving us insight...
