Penny and Mike are in the absolute best area for R&R! We had a wedding to go to, but wanted to have some quiet personal time for ourselves also. We definitely found it! My husband and I work at a resort and this is far and above the peace and quiet we are used to. The breakfasts were superb and...

A gem! Hosts Mike & Penny were charming hosts, and our room (The Country Cottage) was outfitted with all the items anyone could need (iron, popcorn, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, shampoo, hair dryer, robes, extra towels, et cetera). Tastefully decorated without being "over the top," the fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill would make it easy to prepare snacks/meals. The hot tub...

Penny and Mike are the cutest! Buddy the dog helped us forget how worn out we were from work and travel. Our hosts made us feel at home and comfortable. Meals were always on time, complete and scrumptuous! Great accomodations for those with food restrictions. Penny and Mike did a great job providing breakfast to our family who visited one...

My husband and I stayed at Hopewell B & B for one night on a 2-week pacific northwest trip. We live in Manhattan and can be difficult to please but found not a single fault with this wonderful B & B. Penny and Mike were warm and welcoming, and had obviously thought of every detail. The room was perfect -...

Hopewell is the spot if you want to enjoy the quiet of the countryside in the rural Willamette Valley amid vineyards and farms. Mike and Penny were friendly and accommodating, and the tasty breakfasts were more like feasts, made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. As there are only two "rooms" which are self-contained cottages, there was ample privacy for rest,...

We're a married couple from Portland trying to get away for a few days in the country, wine country (10 minutes to over 15 wineries). Mike and Penny were great! Such nice people, they reminded my wife and I that there truly are sweet people all over this state... and the breakfast, yum. I've been to bed and breakfasts before,...

Great place with friendly but not intrusive hosts, an amazing breakfast, and privacy to relax and enjoy the time there.

Penney and Mike were wonderful hosts with a great knowledge of the area. They helped us with dinner plans and even told us about the small county ferry that crosses the river. That saved us 1/2 hour of driving and was quite fun! The B & B is wonderful. It would be even better on a sunny day with a...

My wife and I were recommended to Mike & Penny (the owners of Hopewell B&B) from friends who live in Seattle and had enjoyed several visits. We took them up on their recommendation and were absolutely thrilled with our stay! Penny called the day of our arrival to say she'd left some wine and cheese for our arrival. We spent...
