Very comfortable and clean Tucked away on a side street so very quiet. Some rooms face the beach with immediate access but as we were only staying one night (and the weather wasn't very good) we took a room at the back. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants downtown.

Thank you for taking the time to give us a kind review. We are glad to hear your experience with us was a pleasant one. We hope to see you again in the future when you might have time for a longer stay. Thanks again!

The rooms were clean with TV, fridge, wifi and microwave. The showers had good pressure and lots of hot water. It sits right next to beach with access, They could use better pillows, air conditioning, screens on Windows so we could open and thicker walls but then I could have went and paid more elsewhere.

Thank you for the lovely review. We are aware of the pillows, and screen situation. We were hoping both would have been delivered before our season began, alas that was not to be. We have beds, furniture, pillows, and carpeting now waiting to be delivered but will have to wait until the end of the season as it would be...

This was a great hotel situated right on the beach. We had a walkout slider onto the shore and all rooms facing west had private balconies. The managers were very considerate and helpful. You can watch the sun set and listen to the surf all night.

We stayed at the Tradewinds again for our anniversary. It isn't a five star hotel but it is clean and welcoming. Our room was on the second floor and faced the ocean. We had a fire in the fireplace and a great view of the sunrise and sunset. The bed was a little hard but we survived. The lady that...

The Tradewinds isn't the fanciest place around, but it's a good value. The managers are very friendly and helpful and the place is clean. We appreciate that they have an accessible room, with grab bars, and a wheelchair ramp. We loved that its right on the beach, with wonderful views.

I was part of a group that stayed at this ocean front hotel in November. The only good thing about the place is that it's on the water. The rooms were drab and they looked worn out and unclean even though the housekeeper was just there. The owner and staff, clearly related, are suspicious and arrogant - the place was...

This property is oceanfront with great beach access. The staff is wonderful and took VERY good care of us during our stay. Kitchenette with a complete set of dishes and pans. Barbecues available, and great picnic table area. Fireplace with a presto log provided. Be aware that pet friendly rooms are limited. Our room had a scary - looking electric...

If you are one of those nose-in-the-air folks that simply disdain a property without a proper concierge and turndown service, skip this place. It is a motel that shows a little age, has no elevators, and is definitely nothing fancy. However if you are a relatively carefree person who enjoys a friendly conversation and a fantastic location, look no further...

It was a great little place. We stayed a night after visiting Portland. We hit canon beach on the way and there are a bunch of hiking trails on the Pacific highway. Tillamook is about 20 minutes down the road too. It isn't a big town, so no nightlife or great eats, but it was a quiet romantic motel on...
