Stayed here for two nights on a quick business trip and it was perfect. Convenient location, solid restaurant (only had breakfast), stellar service -- and nice little touches like a selection of newspapers each morning and a roll-on vial of lavender oil to help you dream at night.

We had a 3 nights stay here to discover Portland and it was the perfect hotel choice;very friendly and efficient staff (Theo from the front desk was part of it) during all the stay;the room was perfect, clean, enough space, and nice sleeping. The breakfast downstairs was a good start for your day.The location is excellent and you are from walking distances to the... First time in Portland, and as a SPG member was looking for a Starwood hotel downtown. I couldn’t decide between The Nines and Westin. I flipped a coin and chose the Westin, based on the décor from the website. As expected, the hotel had a nice, tasteful, contemporary décor that resembled the website photos. The location is excellent, in the... More

Very nice hotel. Staff particularly welcoming and helpful- even offering to go to a pharmacy for medication for my wife. Good location and very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to friends and will use it again when visiting Portland.

The hotel is small but very nice. The rooms are on the small side, also the bathroom, but very clean and adequate, especially for business people who do not plan to spend a great deal of time in their room. The is a very nice restaurant downstairs, also a nice bar, Very convenient location. Going back in two weeks.

Location is fantastic. Close to Jake's, food trucks, Portland Cultural center. Really easy to access from the airport using the MAX line ($2.50 for an all day pass unless you are an honored citizen....$7.50 for 5 days, unlimited access on all transport lines. I love Westin; however. the Portland Westin didn't provide the service which I have been accustomed. We... More

Helpful staff and to-be-expected Westin decor/vibe. Dog-friendly property and they even provided in-room doggie bowls and waste baggies in a branded leash-attachment dispenser. Would be happy to stay again. Close proximity to great shopping and Pioneer Courthouse Square.

Nice hotel with good bathrooms yet noisy and even though they are part of Marriott you can not use your Marriott rewards and they do very little to explain or get you onto spg rewards. I would have expected more help and understanding

We arrived around noon and check in time is at around 3 pm. The desk informed us that our room was ready. We are accustomed to staying and Starwood properties and have always felt like we were coming home. Although the front desk was kind and helpful, we didn't receive the same time of warmth and welcoming feeling that we... More

I'm a SPG member and have been to several Westin's throughout the world and I was very pleased with the Portland location. The hotel's exterior and lobby were very elegant, modern and upscale. I think that most other hotels are small & noisy in downtown Portland but our room was spacious and peaceful. Love the bed and the bathroom. Would... More

“I usually have an upper room ending in 04 and have become familiar with the view, but I'm sure all the rooms are wonderful. As to the certification below, I should say that my son worked here that first night and a few years thereafter, but he has moved on to other careers since, but I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Portland.”
