Although we were completely rained out on our stay and spent most of the time in our room, it was very relaxing and comfortable. The only downfall I would say is that the coffee machine makes weak coffee and lacks taste. At least it's better than the hotels with the tiny coffee pot in the room.

Stayed here for one night in April. Great location- it's within walking distance from Powell's books and many great restaurants. The check in/out process was a breeze. The room was small but clean and well decorated. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in!

We stay here almost every time we go to Portland. Love the centralized location. Everything we want tl do is within walking distance, and there's aleays something new to discover. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and willing to take time to share suggestions. The recent renovation has been done in a way that honors the bones of the structure while...

I had seen this hotel from the outside on a previous trip to Portland, but had never been inside. I booked for a trip for my (adult) son and me. There was renovation going on, which can sometimes mean lots of noise, but we didn't experience that at all. Our room was one of the newly remodeled ones, and it...

Very nice hotel! I have only stayed at one other hotel in Portland. Once I stayed at the Mark Spencer, I have never tried another one since. Very nicely updated hotel and the staff is great! One thing I thought about was if they were wheelchair accessible? You may want to ask because I only saw one entrance and it...

the Mark Spencer hotel made a great base for exploring downtown, pearl district and Old town Portland. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. They offer a wine reception in the afternoon which is a great kickoff to an evening on the town. Our room was next to the elevators and you could hear the elevator door every time it opened...

We picked the hotel due to the location and price. We were happily surprised at how nicely decorated the room was, the view of the city and the shower was lovely. The wine hour was great -lovely local wines and some cheese and crackers. The parking was super easy. Being Portlanders it was a super fun location to go out...

I really enjoyed how this hotel tried to accommodate us the best they could. They looked at the details of our trip and stay and proceeded to take extra care. I know that they cannot always give these luxuries for free, depending on circumstance, but they took time to enhance the small details on our trip. The staff took time...

Arrived on a business trip and was very happy with the location and amenities at this hotel. The staff were friend. The breakfast spread was a little sparse, but I didn't book this hotel for the breakfast. Many amazing restaurants in walking distance, and the Passport is a great touch.

Room was very comfortable. Would be great if the garage had electric vehicle charging stations so folks could charge their vehicles before leaving. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. We would stay again if we were in the downtown area for any reason.
