Number one I want to address the price of this hotel for the location. We flew out of pdx so we searched for a room close by that was REASONABLY priced but not so cheap that it's nasty, if you know what I mean...
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! My best friend and I drove up from southern Oregon for a trip to Hawaii, we found this hotel (close to the airport, had to be up at 3am to catch flight) to be cheap and appeared to be...More
Average hotel but clean. Price was right. $89 on Memorial Day weekend. Staff was friendly enough. Had bagels, toast and coffee in the lobby in the morning. Homeless person came in and filled up without raising an eyebrow from the staff. Probably a daily occurrence....More
This Econo Lodge is at the upper end of budget motels. The elevator for the 2nd and 3rd floors is very nice but usually smells like cigs or worse. The staff are great. The rooms are large and a bit worn but comfortable. Bed is...More

We do not have shuttle. We are directly across the street from the Parkrose/Sumner Transit Center which is a part of Portland's Mass Transit System called Trimet. The Lite Rail is called the MAX. The first train leaves our stop at 4:34 in the morning and arrives at baggage claim at 4:45 am. It runs approximately every 15 to 20 minutes. The last train leaves the airport at 11:49 and arrives at our stop at about midnight. The hotel front desk has schedules for the train or you can google trimet to check out all the places the Max light rail goes. The cost is $2.50 for a 2 hour ticket and $5.00 for an all day pass.
