Typical Fairfield accommodation, friendly staff, quite and clean room . Their web-directions are quite confusing as they mention a Shell station , which does not exist. Breakfast however did not offer the selection I am used to from other Fairfields. Replenishment was quite slow and we had...More

Best wishes for happy and safe travels,
The staff was very rude to us for our whole stay, they even profiled one of us and when the staff is cleaning rooms they make as much noise as they possibly can early in the morning. If that doesn't wake you up, the noise...More

Nice, clean hotel with nice staff. The morning breakfast was great! It offered a lot more than most hotels do with an "included" breakfast. The beds were great and the rooms have a great air-conditioner. Thanks!

The yellow line (expo center) using max rail takes you into downtown Portland where you can transfer to other lines if needed. Convenient, inexpensive way to get around in a city with lots of traffic, especially during rush hour. I found getting to the actual Expo transit stop from the hotel to be a bit confusing (paved walking path, then cross a major freeway pass with a cross walk) but once you figure it out, it is fine. Better directions from the front desk would help. Check the Portland max rail line maps on line. You will see how the lines intersect and can check rates. Some kiosks take paper money/coins, others only take charge cards.

Thank you for enquiring about the Fairfield Inn and Suites North Harbour. The walking path to the light rail is very well lit in most areas. the first 100 yards of the path coming from the hotel doesn't have any lighting except for the hotel lights facing it.
