Really interesting hotel with a combination of super cool hotel rooms and hostel rooms with shared-floor restrooms. The restaurant in the building doesn't seem to fit - really delicious and creative - but maybe too fancy even for hipsters?

The hotel has a small uncovered lot a block away from the hotel, right across from a park that seems to be a popular hangout for the homeless. After parking in the lot overnight we found that someone had pooped behind my car. Maybe that's part of the quirky appeal of Portland, but I did not like having to step over a pile of poo to put bags in the trunk.
