As another reviewer mentioned - it's an Econo Lodge, not the Ritz Carlton. For under $200 in the city, it was the perfect match for us. Our stay was for one night before traveling to the coast and we found it to be clean, comfortable, and ideally located. The college campus nearby was a pleasure to stroll through on our...

My wife and two daughters spent three nights at the Econo Lodge on our trip to Portland The best part of the hotel is it's location very close to the MAX light rail, the Street Car, food trucks, and PSU. The price was right as well (we stayed for $140/night). The neighborhood was quiet when we stayed though I felt...

We were here on July 4th during the blues festival so naturally all of the hotels raised their prices for this weekend. Felt overcharged as this is a real basic hotel with a limited continental breakfast in the lobby with one table only. A $10 charge for parking felt like we were ripped off a bit as in the other...

Great location and a low rate. The hotel is pretty standard but What you'd expect from an econo lodge. The room could have been cleaned with a little more detail, but it wasn't incredibly bothersome. There was some mildew on the shower walls. Free wifi, but it was very slow and we had trouble connecting more than one device at...

Basic no frills room downtown near Portland State U, with $10 day parking, continental breakfast (bagel, toast, oj, coffee, muffin, banana), coffee in room, cable, flat screen tv. Pros: great shower pressure, safe, near public trans, fast & free Wi-Fi, good lighting, nice staff. Cons: bed tilted to center and weak, towels & pillows are thin, soap/shampoo will take your...

Well maintained property (the owner was sweeping the parking lot when we arrived). Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean, and nothing was in need of replacement. Comfortable beds, wide screen tv, large fridge. Well situated too, easy to get downtown via car or public transportation.

First of all, excellent location in the university area of DT Portland, very close to transit, walking distance all throughout downtown. Very clean, bright rooms, grounds are fresh looking and appealing. Staff were very helpful. Food Carts directly across the street for variety and eats all day and late in to the evening. Quiet and very safe feeling. A delightful...

It's in a great location. We found it clean and comfortable. Even on the bottom floor we didn't find it noisy at all. The continental breakfast was sparse but worked for us. It was great to have the fridge, coffee maker and microwave in our room. The free wifi was a bonus and the $10 parking fee was acceptable. The...

I read all the reviews for the last year at this place and it booked it. It all depends on what kind of person you're. If you're a cheapskate, this might be a really good choice for you. Including taxes, it will cost you $125 a night. It is clean, not immaculate clean, but it's clean. If you want to...
