Delightful, in-town hotel within walking distance of just about everything. Staff were courteous and helpful, room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant, while not owned by the hotel, had great breakfasts and good service. We parked next door and avoided the $ 30.00 parking fee which, from reading some reviews, can be avoided by the deals one...

Great location in downtown Portland. Close to many restaurants. Johnny the concierge was very helpful! Room was clean but what sounded like a generator would go on at night making it difficult to sleep.

This was my third stay at Hotel Modera and, once again, it didn’t disappoint. The hallmark of Modera is the outstanding staff and their attention to the guest’s comfort. You can’t beat the warm welcome and quick check-in at the front desk or the friendly greeting of the housekeeping and maintenance staff as they go about their duties. All of...

We chose this hotel because it was in Portland and we didn't want to drive too far from PDX to find a place to stay after traveling. It is in a decent location but honestly I have stayed at Holiday Inn Express hotels in several different states that were better than this. The room with one king bed was rather...

Matsuhiker, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. Most of our guests appreciate our stylish decor, award winning menu, and well appointed guest rooms. The sliding door you mentioned is one of several space saving features in our guestrooms, in addition to luxurious and comfortable furnishings. The boutique hotel experience isn't for every guest. We've made our...

Great hotel, great proximity to downtown, great people, very nice/clean rooms. My only issue here was that I had stayed here before and got a good deal on parking. On my second trip, I asked for it again and was told that I had NEVER gotten a deal on parking on my previous stay, nor were they going to extend...

The rooms were clean, but a little stuffy overnight, the staff was excellent, the weekend price was a little high and the 30.00 a day for parking a little high. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would come back.

We chose this hotel for it's location downtown, proximity to the tram line and the special it had on free parking. In Portland we prefer to park the car and walk to take transit and this hotel is perfectly located for this. The rooms were nicely appointed and clean. The lobby was open and welcoming and always had people lounging...

I was in Portland to do some work at Portland State University and this lovely rehabbed Travel Lodge (seriously!) was practically on campus and close to all the amazing downtown Portland sites and fabulous restaurants. My room was beautifully appointed with a great bed and beautiful linens. the lobby and outdoor plaza area off the street have an amazing wall...

Convenient location in downtown Portland. I was travelling to Portland for business. My room was nice and clean. The only drawback is it was facing the outdoor area of the restaurant so it could be noisy sometimes. Would definitely stay there again.

This was a fine hotel with a great location in downtown Portland. They seem to have actually thought about guest's comfort and the look was sleek and clean. A nice place to come back to after a busy day. It suggests comfort without high maintenance on the part of guests.
