Only in town for 1 night so was looking for a cheap place as close to the centre as possible, and this place was perfect! About 15 mins walk across the bridge to all the restaurants and bars. The room itself was clean, spacious, with a HUGE comfy bed. Free wifi too! Parking seeemed safe and secure, and unlike some...

This was a decent place to stay at a decent price. It could use updating and some better repairs, but then the price wouldn't have been as reasonable. The room was clean. The front desk people weren't overly friendly, but they weren't rude either. The wifi worked fine. Breakfast isn't included, but I think they had coffee in the lobby....

This hotel was perfectly fine as far as management, room and price. But I was without a car, knowing Portland's great public transportation system. It was fine during the day, though I did a lot of walking from the hotel, instead of waiting for the bus, but at dinnertime, when it was dark out, the choice of restaurant close by...

It's just a motel really, but the prices are better than what you'd pay downtown. And if you don't mind a 15 minute walk you can be downtown quickly. The area is a mixture of the old and the new and hipster. You want a traditional dark bar with Coors Light? Check. Or a modern brewery with nouveau cuisine? Check....

This place is old and rough around the edges, but earns my five stars because FOR THE MONEY, it is a fantastic find. I paid less than $100 per night. The rooms are clean. Mine had a small fridge and microwave. No coffee maker, so if you must have your coffee the minute you wake up, bring a mug and...

I thought this would be an old, worn-out in-town motel. Happily, I was wrong. It is newly remodeled so the rooms are small and a little old-school but very clean and comfortable. The hotel is located in a fun and trendy part of town. We ate Thai at a food wagon parked across the street and had a drink at...

While it is located on the "Eastside" of the river that divides Portland down the middle (Portland's attractions are mostly on the Westside), my stay was quiet, near good restaurants and easily navigate-able to downtown Portland. While the hotel itself isn't 'sparkling' or 'fancy', it is humble and satisfying. Looks like mostly a cinder block building with old fashioned 50's/60's...

I stayed here primarily because of its location near the downtown and its reasonable price. And I made the right decision. It was a comfortable hotel. There were only a few drawbacks - the bathroom was a little small - but ok; there was no coffee/tea in the room, I had to walk to the main office to get it....

+ OVERALL: Great, clean budget hotel. We would definitely stay again.. + WELCOMING STAFF: Previous reviews listed unfriendly staff. Our staff was the complete opposite. Check in and check out staff were absolutely lovely and accommodating. I had to call and appreciated that during my initial call the staff person asked me to call back in an hour or so...

Checked in with very pleasant staffs who gave very precise directions and information. One of the best beds that I have slept in for a long time. Room was very tight with 2 Queen beds. Facilities were very good and very clean. Good place to stay as the price was very good.
