It had been a long hot day on the road to Portland when I pulled up. Valet parking was quick and easy. Check in was, too, with smiling cheerful staff. The available infused ice waters available in the lobby were very refreshing and a very nice touch. The room was nicely furnished and comfortable. The water pressure and shower head...

Highly recommend this location its walking distance to everything and the tram is close if you need it...and we used it too...OH and food on the 2nd floor restaurant was great too. I had the crab cakes and my sister had the salads, both were yummy.

The room was fairly large and nice. Staff was nice, excellent fitness room, no pool (kids were not happy), decent concierge lounge and the location is fantastic (walking distance to pearl district and pioneer square). The second floor bar/lounge is really nice.

The ease of Portland residents was clearly here at the Marriott Portland City Center. In the midst of the chaos (people checking in - rooms not ready - luggage behind the reception), the staff at this hotel took their time to help whomever was in front of them. The location is awesome as we easily avoided renting a car or...

I am so happy to hear that you were able to see just how well Portland works as a city. There are not a lot of cities like Portland and it sounds like you are more than aware of this. Please come visit us anytime. We will always be here for you.

This Marriott is a great location (the southwest section of the City): walking distance to several restaurants, Pioneer Square (where the Visitors' Center is located and where you pick up the tour buses), food trucks, a Rite Aid pharmacy (get your bottled water here), and the famous Voodoo Donuts. The only negative is that the Marriott doesn't offer breakfast, but...

Thank you for your detailed review. It is always nice to hear what a guest enjoyed about their stay but it also helpful to find out where guests feel that we can improve. Portland is a great city and our hotel is located in the heart of it all which is so fortunate for us all. I did want to...

This was a comfortable stay for my partner and I in May to explore Portland for a few days. The room was clean, bed comfortable and front desk staff helpful. Parking is expensive, so we parked in one of the downtown car parks which worked out to be much more affordable. Portland is a great city and we could walk...

We stayed here for two nights and had a good time. The neighborhood is not the best but the ease of travel within the city via Portland's Street Cars and Max Light Rail made up for it. The staff at the hotel were really nice and very approachable as far as tourist questions. Make sure to go to the OMSI...

Yes, I know it is not trendy or sheik but it is in the right place and it is a known quantity. I travel 40 weeks a year and knowing what I will receive is a huge thing to me. Marriott delivers satisfaction on a regular basis. The site in downtown overlooking the river, parks, shopping and restaurants are all...

Our trip schedule had to change and the plan only let us stay in Portland for 2 days. So we decided to come back to Marriott City Center.
