This is the place to stay if you get to go to Pendleton! The motel is the kind you see in a route 66 book--friendly, Western--not at all like the "all alike every time places." We were on a trip that required stays in three towns--Baker City, Boise, Pendleton. I wish we could have stayed in this motel the entire... More

A charming feel, very basic but it is clean and comfortable. Wifi worked great. We stayed in room 8 and could hear a hint of a train, but no horns. The breakfast was bagels, cereals and hard eggs. I would definitely come back.

We will absolutely stay here again! Very clean & affordable with a vintage road trip charm, this place was delightful & run by good folks. If you appreciate clean simplicity & don't require anything fancy, this is a great value that includes nice basic breakfast options as well. Loved it!

Very friendly and helpful staff, room was small but exceptionally clean and comfortable with microwave, refrigerator, TV, wifi, and coffee maker. Beds and pillows excellent, nice breakfast. We stayed there in November and were surprised and pleased to see flowers blooming and herbs growing in the small well-kept beds lining the lodge. Overall, our favorite motel on a long trip.

Arrived and greeted by a very nice gentleman. Great host. Thought when we went to our room, by unlocking one door on main level, walking upstair to an upper room, very old building - what were we getting ourselves into Turned out very comfortable room, tv, microwave, fridge. Great breakfast in the morning. Very nice place.

I agree completely with the reviewer who wished he could find more places like this. First, the beds are wonderfully firm and comfortable. I've been budget-traveling a lot lately, and too many places in this price range -- or well above it -- have uncomfortable, worn-out beds. And really, that's the main thing you are renting when you rent a... More

The room was very clean, but older. It had everything a traveler could want, even a refrigerator and microwave. Since we were traveling and just needed a clean bed and quick snack for breakfast, it was just right. Very friendly owner. Nice amenities.

Not new, modern or fancy but a good find. It was clean and tidy, comfortable beds, and a basic breakfast (with fresh fruit). We travel with our small dog and the room we got was fresh smelling and no trace of past pets. The owner was friendly. Great value and worth a visit.

Motor-inn style hotel. Low prices, clean rooms, and great "continental" breakfast in the "Rooster Room" with fresh hard-boiled eggs. I wish I could find more of these little inns on our trip. Less is more.
