We were intrigued by the history of the hotel and the building fulfils the Victorian promise. The high ceilings and the period furniture create a wonderful ambience. We had the place to ourselves so sat in the sitting room and watched a film.. home from home! In the morning we made ourselves breakfast and ate at the table in the... More

We stayed at the Pendleton Working Girls Hotel on the 2nd October in the Suite accommodation which has a king size bedroom, large dressing room and a private bathroom. The choice of furniture in this suite is absolutely superb and fits very well into the overall feel of the building’s environment. The place is amazing with very high ceilings, over... More

We had this unique place to ourselves! Our room at the end of the hall was spacious, clean, and delightful, decorated in tasteful antiques. Nice en suite bathroom with everything we needed. We had access to kitchen where we could have prepared meals, but didn't, just coffee. However, so nice to be able to refrigerate our traveling snacks and drinks... More

This is an interesting hotel in the historic downtown on Pendleton, Oregon. The Underground Tour is very interesting also and the hotel is a nice, quant place to stay. Lots of character and history here.

This is a lovely place to stay, particularly if you like vintage decore. While it was old, it was certainly not "musty", the beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. We were the only guests for the night which was great. Please note, this is a downtown accommodation on a busy street, so if noise is an issue for... More

My best friend and I wanted to stay somewhere special for our girls weekend. I found it in the Working Girls Hotel. The process of reservation to check out was easy. The staff are very customer oriented and nice to work with. We rented the suite and loved it! Beautiful rooms with character. I would totally stay again and recommend... More

The Working Girls is a great place to stay- we were there 4 nights. A historical building with a checkered past, now a hotel with a collection of rooms furnished in classic furniture. Beautiful high windows and high ceilings. Not fussy at all, sparkling clean, and very comfortable. Bathrooms are modern, the Suite has bathroom within, and the other rooms... More

From the moment you enter and wander up the slanting tilting you know it's something special! We are so tired of modern cookie-cutter motels and ending up behind the guy at the continental breakfast that doesn't know how to operate the waffle maker. The 18-foot ceilings and carefully chosen antiques add to the comfortable charm of this place. Brooke keeps... More

My daughter and two cousins have stayed at the Working Girls at least 5 times and really enjoy the fact that we can rent the entire hotel (6 rooms), has a kitchen, living room, dining room, and many bathrooms. Right downtown and just wonderful!

Been driving cattle across the high desert and hit Pendleton with a pocket full of coins and a mean appetite. The Working Girls Hotel was a welcome sight. First I hit the saloon on the first floor for a belly full of rot gut. That got my fire going. Next I needed a room. Madame Saturnalia got me set up... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Working Girls Hotel is owned and operated by Pendleton Underground Tours. In 1991, people on the tour would ask if any of Pendleton's 18 bordellos were still open? The tourists thought it would be fun to stay in one. Pam Severe restored and opened the W.G. Hotel in 1991, in one of Pendleton's old boarding houses (bordello) built in the late 1890's. Pendleton Underground Tours acquired the hotel in 1997. The Hotel has a suite and 4 other sleeping rooms all furnished in Victorian decor. Each room is unique. Hard wood floors, 18 foot ceilings and exposed brick walls make you feel as though you have stepped back in time, only with the luxuries of the 21st century. ... more   less
