We are now ending our third stay at this awesome little place on the ocean. We will be sad to move down the coast to a new location. This time, we stayed in Unit 4, which is next door to The unit we stayed in in our first visit. This place did not disappoint yet again! I wish we could...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We take a trip to the Oregon Coast every Easter, we're slowly working our way up. When I saw that Newport has three lighthouses nearby I started looking for a place there and found Agate Beach Motel. It's an older property that has been upgraded and has absolutely beautiful sweeping views of the ocean. When we arrived we were greeted...

Oh My! What a nice review. We so appreciate you taking the time and describing Agate Beach Motel in such depth. You should write our descriptive ads. So glad you took in all that is around us and happy the weather was good enough for the beach fire; this time of year is iffy. Please keep us on your list...

The motel is sitting on one of the best views ever! the staff is very helpful, supportive and sincere. My wife and I were able to stay in a very clean room and rest our feet on the front porch just the way you want it. The view is great and to listen to the ocean all day and night...

Wish we could have stayed longer. Such a cozy little 'cabin like' room. We turned the fireplace on and watched the WestCoast storm happen right outside the window. Really nicely finished 'cabins' with all the little extras of home. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Hopefully we will be back in the Summer when we can sit around the...

This is our favorite place to stay on the Oregon coast. I almost hate to tell people about it because I feel it is a hidden gem on the Oregon coast. The buildings are older but nicely renovated. I love the fact that there is a nice kitchen to cook our own meals. Great coffee! I love the fire pit...

We loved staying at the Agate Beach Motel. We had a view of the ocean from our room with a quick walk down to the beach from our room. We were also able to take our dog. The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing and very friendly. They even had extras like a fire pit with supplies...

Very clean nice little bungalow. All the basics are supplied. The electric fireplace is wonderful on rainy days. And the view is wonderful. The staff are very helpful and sweet. I have never been so comfortable away from home!

This was my third visit to the Agate Beach Motel and the only negative part of our stay was that we had to leave. This is a very special place. The suites are very clean and comfortable, the view is the best on the Oregon Coast, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home....

Lovely spot on Agate Beach. Reclusive. Similar to a small studio apartment. Fire pit. Relaxation. What more could you want? Not super high end, but perfect enough for what it is. Tip: the Premium rooms do not have tubs. Only the Standards.

Thanks so much! In remodeling a building from the 1940's we are sort of left with the footprint at hand. Tubs work in the standard rooms but we could not configure them into the Premier. Just glad there is an option. Agate Beach Motel appreciates your review more than you know. Sincerely, Wendy Kelley

Brought the kids and the pups. Loved the ocean views. Right next to Yachinta Head tidepool/lighthouse. Room slept five humans and two dogs just fine. Pretty easy walk down the stairs to the beach. Had to climb over a few rocks, but that was ok. Staff was very helpful.

Thanks so much! So glad your experience at Agate Beach Motel was good. Winter time does present extra rocks and logs to maneuver to get to the beach but usually leads to good finds. Your review is so important to us! Wendy Kelley
