Just had my 8th visit to Paradise! Rafting, floating, camping, hiking, not to mention scrumptious eating and drinking, delightful people and no electronics or technology. The best vacation ever! I loved being off the grid. It truly restores the soul. The wild and scenic Rogue River has an energy about it that rejuvenates the spirit. The lodge is well run...

My six person private rafting group stayed at Paradise Lodge on Aug 8, 2016 and left upset and disappointed....primarily because of the manager, although he implied it is the owners (absentee). The first senseless conflict arose over using the bathroom----instead of welcoming my wife and niece who hiked the trail and arrived early, they were "given the second degree" (their...

Wow! I was very pleasantly surprised to visit this lodge. First of all, this is a place to stay, not just visit. It has a very small staff that provides all the amenities. When you visit, plan on staying a few days and spending time with family. You can book a room overlooking the river or a mountain room in...

Stayed here in early July as part of a 4 day raft trip down the Rogue river. This lodge is not accessible by road only boat or helicopter. It is a great experience. The deck onlooking the river is spectacular. Remember you are in the wilderness. Electric only between 5pm and 10pm and only for a few hours in the...

My family and I travel every summer and are always excited for a new adventure. We found Paradise Lodge and could not wait to check it out after hearing many positive reviews from friends in the Oregon area. Our group of nine included members of all ages and there were activities to keep all of us equally entertained. The journey...

5.0 star rating 7/7/2016 Paradise Lodge is my new favorite remote destination!! The accommodations were comfortable and clean while the staff was nothing short of amazing. We took Jerry's Rogue Jets to access the lodge and were immediately welcomed at arrival. The staff took up our bags, led us to our cabin, and informed us of all of the "house...

I planned a lodge-hop hike-in stay with my family one year ahead of time for Memorial weekend, Monday, May 30, 2016. I paid for the reservation a year ahead of time. When I arrived, I discovered the reservation was made for 2015, even though I have email confirmation the request was for 2016. The lodge was full, but the manager...

Paradise Lodge high above the Rogue River in its Wild and Scenic area also has trails to the water and through the forest. Our spacious room, Upper Solitude has an enormous deck overlooking the river where I watched osprey, eagles, Olive sided flycatchers, GB heron, Blk Crowned Night Heron, relaxed, read. The meals were super, whether shared one night with...

We stayed at the lodge as part of a multi-day rafting trip, and after camping for 2 nights, just the hot water and flush toilets seemed like luxury. Our room was one of the older ones, and could use some updated windows or at least repair the screens-it was hard to get a cross-breeze without getting bugs. And we did...

I had heard of Paradise Lodge's reputation as not being very good but was more than willing to assume someone else was too picky. Nope, the legend is true. Pick another property. The good thing about the U.S. is that competition is good for the consumer. Spend your money wisely and don't be fooled by marketing tactics. We had made...
