Youngberg Hill is an Oregon vinyard that is away from the sprawl, but worth the trip. We are looking forward to staying in the inn this winter, but when we visited to taste the wine we decided to join their club. We live only 30 minutes away, and we will visit frequently.

This is our third time to stay at Youngberg. We now feel more like family than visitors. Becky and Michelle are wonderful inn keepers, making amazing breakfasts! The views of the winery are spectacular. We will continue to stay at Youngberg and recommend to our friends. Than

We stayed for one night, but wish we could have stayed longer. McMinnville is a very nice town with cute shops and restaurants. It was an easy drive from town to the Winery and the drive up was very pretty. The winery is beautiful and the rooms are very nice and comfortable.

When researching this area I decided to book Youngberg Hill even though it was very expensive (Approx $300US for a room and breakfast in the country). The local options were very unarttractive.
What did we get for the money ? Not much except an excellent view.
On arrival we were

We are so sorry we didn’t meet their expectations. I had already replied to his wife's earlier review but cannot even begin to outline the numerous discrepancies in this one. Our Innkeeper spent time with them learning about their US travels, trying to help inform and give direction. It is clear from this review that we needed to do a better job educating them about us, our estate, and all what we offer as the lack of accurate information and understanding is evident and too numerous to reply to. We truly hope the rest of their trip to the US and travels back to Australia were fantastic!

Beautiful outlook, large room. Greeted by Becky (Director of First Impressions) but felt our arrival was interfering with her busy day. Noted wine tastings closed at 4pm. Took a leisurely stroll around the garden arriving at the tasting room at 3.45pm told tasting finished at 3.3

We are sorry that Becky’s effort to arrange a wine tasting before the tasting room closed were felt to be rushed. We always try to offer the opportunity of this experience to our Inn guests when they arrive or before they leave in the morning. We are glad that you enjoyed the complimentary glasses of our award-winning wines. Becky so enjoyed spending time with you hearing about your travels and helping with all your questions about our estate and the area. Our chocolate chip cookies have been baked fresh from our kitchen daily for the past 15 years. Maybe they were so good that you didn’t feel it was possible to achieve that great look or taste in-house, but we are glad you enjoyed them. We appreciate the feedback and will continue to monitor request for milk options in addition to the half & half and non-dairy creamers we currently offer with the complimentary coffee service. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your Oregon vacation and had safe travels back home to Australia.

i have a 4 month old. Can I bring him?
Unfortunately we can not accommodate any child under 6 years old on individual reservations. If a group takes the whole house (all 8 rooms) we can allow for children.

Do all rooms have a fireplace? I think we will be staying in the cellar room as we are going with a group.
Hello! We are looking forward to having your group star with us! The cellar suite does have an electric fireplace in it, and I agree with Jeremy, it is a cool environment! See you soon. Colleen, Innkeeper
