Really enjoyed our stay. Charming rooms. Comfortable and close to the beach. Friendly staff that gave great recommendations. Would absolutely stay there again. Courtyard had great view of mountain. They had a nice selection of books and videos to borrow. Room was clean. Perfect location as it is near restaurants and shops. Yet Manzanita is still a quiet little town...

I'm hesitant to endorse anything in Manzanita, because it used to be a little secret town that the Cannon Beach visitors didn't know about, but not so much anymore. The Spindrift is the best place in Manzanita to stay, if you can get in -- that's why it's usually full in summer!! nice, homey, real close to the beach. Not...

Comfortable, very clean room and friendly staff. They're dog friendly, but make sure you tell them upfront so that they give you one of their dog friendly rooms! They WiFi worked great. I stayed here for a couple of nights with my mom and we had a nice time. We had fun getting DVDs from the office and grabbing coffee...

Clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped accommodation with a friendly welcome and farewell. Centrally located in Manzanita and only 1 block from a wonderful beach. The Owner's Suite isn't pet friendly, but other rooms are

This was my second stay at the Spindrift, the first having been about a year ago. Both times were nice, and this one even better due to the inn having taken out old carpet and installing new flooring. Both times I was able to get a room for me and my small pooch. This time, however, I arrived after office...

Just steps from the beach with a coffee shop on the way. The shops and restaurants were all within walking distance. So convenient, cute, and clean. Check in a breeze! Office closes early.but they will arrange a late arrival for you. Thank you Spindrift!

Manzanita is such a great place to stay and play. We have stayed before at the Spindrift Inn and was delighted to stay after the improvements in January. It is such a cute place and so close to the beach and can walk about town with no problem. The courtyard is relaxing and the three rooms that we stayed in...

The Spindrift is not worth the money. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The place has been recently renovated as of 2/14/2016, so the rooms are very clean. And the beach is just a city block away. But the Spindrift has shortcomings: 1. It is not a B&B as listed on Trip advisor. There’s no food on offer. 2....

We stayed for only 1-night in a pet friendly room, and it was super cute and clean! The Inn is directly across the street from the pub and pizzeria, and a short walk to a gorgeous stretch of beach in one direction or shops the other. The staff was very accommodating with a late arrival (being tourists and stopping along...

This is a small rambler style hotel, perhaps 10 rooms. Some rooms allow pets and I know at least one room has a kitchenette. This hotel went under new Management two years ago. They have made some nice and terribly needed improvements: new roof, exterior painted and the room we always get had a new shower put in. I have...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Lovely, quaint, great rooms, inexpensive, a great location, and the people are friendly ... that’s how our guests describe Spindrift Inn. This cozy 14 room cottage-style rural inn is just a block from a 7 mile beach in Manzanita, on Oregon’s gorgeous North Coast. Mountains meet the sea, surrounded by two State Parks, forests and the Pacific Ocean. In our inn you will find no smoking, pillowtop beds, some suites, some kitchenettes, and some pet-friendly rooms (call ahead to be sure). Off the highway, Manzanita’s small commercial district is nestled among cabins and cottages - perfect to park and walkabout. There are shops with trendy clothing, natural food, and several restaurants serving fish en papillote to authentic Mexican. And the connection with Nature is superb ... you can re-fresh, rejuvenate and be re-inspired when you return home. Or stay forever (we did). Come visit us ... then you may say: "Spindrift Inn might not have a lot of street appeal, but thankfully the rooms, cleanliness, staff, location and price were all wonderful. We’ll definitely be back again." Owned and operated by local families since 1946. ... more   less
