While we didn't hear the winds whistling on our stay, we did had a wonderful time. Rooms where charming and clean. They were less rooms rather adjoining cottages so it felt more like a home rental than a motel room. Pus a hot tub was a nice experience after a long walk on the Oregon Coast. Nicely stocked for stay...

Christopher, Aren't the hot tubs AMAZING!? Thank you for staying with us, and hope that you will return again soon. They are starting to drop the glass floats again, maybe you would want to book a night or two with us and use that hot tub after a day of combing the beach for glass floats :) Thank you for...

We loved the peace and quiet, of our up dated room, It had everything that we needed for our five day stay. The location was outstanding close to everthing. The beach access was just across the street. We have stayed here a couple of times and have never been disappointed. The managers are very friendly and really seem to care...

Cozy cabin feeling, the woodwork and stained glass are beautiful. Convenient location with close by beach access. If you don't need the view, this is a great stay for you! Stone gas fireplace and jacuzzi tub in the bathroom provide a touch of luxery. Can't wait to return without kids and try a full size Jacuzzi room.

I'm so glad you liked our vintage cottage. The owner did all the wood work in the rooms, and that beautiful cobblestone fireplace that gives the living area that rustic cabin appeal...he gathered those rocks and built the fireplace himself. He takes great pride in his work and Motel. Thank you for taking the time to comment about your stay....

We have been staying at the WW for years now, and have enjoyed working out way through the variety of rooms. This was our first try in a jacuzzi room and we weren't disappointed. We were skeptical, given the age of the motel, about how long it would take to fill the tub and whether there would be enough hot...

We loved our 3-night stay! We had everything we needed, and really like the location (simple to cross the street to the beach). We picked the Pixie Kitchen room in which to stay, and even though it didn't have a "view," we appreciated the peace and quiet, and I loved sitting and reading on the porch. It was a beautiful,...

We just celebrated our second wedding anniversary here (and our second visit to Whistling Winds this year), and we really love this place! If you're going as a duo, it's tiny, but perfect. Don't expect luxury here, but do expect a very clean well remodeled "old school" motor lodge. I love this trend in restored motor lodges but sometimes you can still smell the 1955 in the room. Not the case with WW... We splurged a little on a hot tub room with a Tempurpedic bed, well worth the extra little bit! If...
