This is a cute little complex and each room has beautiful ocean views. The staff was friendly and helpful. But... the room smelled of urine - it was clean, but didn't smell so :( Thankfully we were able to have the slider door open the whole time. Unfortunately with the door open came cigarette smoke wafting in from the neighboring...

Fancy, it's not, but if you are looking for a clean place, right on the beach, for a reasonable price, this one fits perfectly. We had a room on the ground floor, that has a full kitchen, a bedroom, a living room with a queen bed, 2 recliners, enough room for a rollaway (there were 5 of us), and a...

The Sandcastle is definitely an older hotel that looks a bit rundown from the outside, but for the price it was a great find. It is right on the ocean and our room (and I think all rooms) have an ocean view. We had a king bed which we always enjoy. Nothing really stood out good or bad (except for...

Older hotel but was quite clean. The view from our room was awesome looking out towards the ocean. Fun having a balcony to go out on. We had a fireplace too even though we didn't need it. I have only one complaint, there was a funky odor in the room which smelled somewhat like animal urine. I realize we are...

We stopped for one night at this hotel; it was clean, convenient, and right on the beach. For what we needed it for, it was perfect, but a longer stay we may have required more amenities. Also, be sure to keep in mind the hotel office closes at 10pm, so there is a deadline to check in.

They have no A/C! We came to escape the heat but instead had to suffer in 90 degree heat in our room. (It was 60 degrees outside) When we opened the windows to get fresh air, all we could smell was cigarette smoke from people on the patios around us. When I discussed the temperature with the employee at the...

While this is an older property the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well kept. Had a third floor room with a balcony and a fireplace that kept the room nice and toasty on a rainy day. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful and walkable for several miles to the north.

I've enjoyed a 3-night stay here as well as one 5 years ago when I discovered this place. Clean rooms, oceanfront. Be sure to get a room with a balcony. Pool and hot tub, too. Despite the often busy town of Lincoln City (this is south of the main concentration of tourist attractions), once I was in the room, all...

The room are so much more comfortable. The new mattress is great for back support. The new lighting is now controlled by a dimmer. It makes this as the favorite place to visit especially with the friendly staff.
