The room was fine, the bath/shower was fantastic, superior art and tile work, view excellent, Elevator Slow and that could be overlooked if it were not for the parking! and bookkeeping. Forget something in your car and you have to walk outside - up hill and it is not short..

At $199 a night, it was disappointing to have to share the single comfy swivel-rocker chair. Even with a pillow and draped towel, the lawn chair was a sad second seat for wave watching. Bed lacked the 3” foam topper found in other similar properties. Avoid room 735. Great early

This is allegedly comprised of privately owned condos that are rented out. From the artwork on the walls I assume the owner of ours is visually impaired, but everything else is top of the line. The rooms are all ocean front and provide magnificent views. Although ours had no

Hello, Ah, art! That old saying, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” is certainly true, isn’t it? I’m pleased to know everything in your room, except for the art, was “top of the line.” The Inn At Spanish Head is a condominium hotel, so all units are privately owned and uniquely furnished and decorated by their owners. Many guests tell us the special touches in the rooms add so much to the comfort they enjoy while visiting. A home away from home feeling. Although each room is unique, every one is oceanfront, as you noted, and every one has floor-to-ceiling windows, so the breathtaking view greets you the moment you enter your room. Yes, many rooms have balconies too. Warm and sunny weather, cool and cloudy or a full-on Oregon Coast storm … you can take advantage everything this part of the world offers in the way of weather from inside or outside. And yes, walks on the beach are simply an elevator ride to the first floor. We think we have the best backyard ever! Tide pools are nearby. You can often spot whales spouting or seals bobbing in the surf. Or perhaps you will discover a hand-blown glass float on a beach walk. Twelve months of the year, Lincoln City places more than 3000 hand-blown glass floats and other special glass treasures on the beaches, above the tide line, for anyone to find. That includes the beach right here at the Inn. It’s quite exciting to find one, which our guests have. I hope you had an opportunity to dine at Fathoms, our 10th floor oceanfront restaurant and bar, while you were here. It’s open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bar opens at 2:00 each day and we offer room service during regular restaurant hours. We also serve holiday brunches on Father and Mother’s Day, New Year’s Day and Easter and traditional holiday buffets on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. During the summer months beginning in July, we serve a Sunday Champagne Brunch that is quite popular. Reservations are recommended (541-994-1601), as these are enjoyed by our guests and local residents alike. The Inn truly is a destination resort and all about the view … from the lobby, the outdoor heated oceanfront pool, ocean view Jacuzzi spa, all 120 guest rooms, the restaurant, bar AND the 10th floor ladies room! We hope you return to the Oregon Coast and the Inn soon. Maybe next time you’ll be luckier with the artwork in your room. Lisa White, General Manager.

Everything was great. Our last visit was in the summer. This time we did not need to leave the resort. Ate all our meals, went swimming, relaxed in spa, worked out in exercise room, played pool, read books and slept in comfortable bed. Only recommendations would be to move

Hello, Wow! You certainly took full advantage of everything the Inn At Spanish Head has to offer! The Inn truly is a destination resort. No need to leave the hotel to enjoy this amazing part of the world. One very special benefit of the Inn, at least in my opinion, is the fact all rooms are oceanfront and all rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows. Even during a stormy, winter visit, you can take in the spectacular views. If the weather keeps you inside and you cannot get out to walk the miles of beaches, just steps out the Inn’s backdoor, you can take it all in from your room. Depending on the location of your unit, you can see north to Cascade Head, west for ever-changing cloud formations or breathtaking sunsets and south to Siletz Bay and beyond. Thank you for letting us know about your visit. Your suggestions regarding the game machine (sorry about that missed shot!) and the location of the exercise room, will certainly be taken these into consideration. We are quite limited as to where we could move the exercise room, however, but I understand your suggestion The saunas issue has been resolved. My apologies for the inconvenience at the time. I’m pleased to know you found Fathoms, the Inn’s 10th floor oceanfront restaurant and bar. When on a getaway, it so nice to have such a variety of dining options for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. And we offer room service too! All rooms have either a full kitchen, kitchenette or wet bar, but a break from cooking is such a treat. Fathoms specializes in fresh seafood on all menus, but you can also find delicious steaks, pasta dishes, Northwest specialities, salads, soup (clam chowder!), burgers and more. All desserts are made in-house. The bar opens at 2:00 PM each day and is a wonderful place to relax ad enjoy the view. We hope you can return during the summer months once again. As you most likely discovered there’s plenty to do a way from the Inn as well … a world-class aquarium, outlet shopping, galleries, cultural events, kite festivals, hikes through old-growth forests, whale watching tours and more. Speaking of whales, the gray whales migrate up and down the Oregon Coast in December/early January and late March, but there is a resident pod that hangs around the Inn all year long, so it’s not uncommon to spot whales spouting any time of the year. It’s always exciting to witness these great creatures anytime. Thank you again for your post. We truly enjoy hearing from our guests, all the good things they find here and with any suggestions to make the Inn even better. Lisa White, General Manager

The room at Inn at Spanish Head was more like a residence. It had all the accomodations we needed and more. The view from the room is outstanding, the room itself was very clean and could accommodate a family for a week or more. Highly recommend this place.

Dear Deborah, I’m pleased to know you found your visit to the Inn At Spanish Head so enjoyable. The Inn is a condominium hotel, which means each room is privately owned and decorated by its owner. So yes, it’s quite like a residence because there are many special touches and personal items found in each. Many guests tell us it is like home away from home, where they can truly relax and feel totally comfortable. It seems you had the same feeling! The Inn is quite unique, not only for the individuality of each room, but because it is built right on the beach and rises 10 stories high. All rooms are oceanfront with floor-to-ceiling windows, so every unit has that outstanding view you mentioned. Many rooms also have balconies. No matter what the weather, warm or chilly, sunny, rainy or stormy, you can take in all the sights and sounds this special part of the world has to offer. The Inn has a variety of room types as well that can accommodate couples, families or those who travel by themselves. We offer one- and two-bedroom suites with a full kitchen; studios with a kitchenette; and bedrooms with a wet bar. And all are oceanfront, as I mentioned. Plus, it’s easy to get to the beach and stroll for miles, explore nearby tide pools, build sand castles or simply relax and watch the waves roll in. Just take the elevator to our first floor and walk a few steps out our backdoor. While you were here, I hope you found Fathoms, the Inn’s 10th floor oceanfront restaurant and bar. It’s open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And we offer room service during regular business hours. Such a treat! Thank you for you kind review of the Inn and for highly recommending it to others. It’s a one-of-a kind property on the central Oregon Coast. It’s truly all about the view and about feeling at home while you are here. Lisa White, General Manage

I think you might have better luck with watching the whales at Depot Bay. They actually come in very close and you can observe from up on the stone walled walk area with comfort.

It is. The Sand Castle is also great for spotting whales while staying in rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows. it took a while to get the new app. I hope this was timely (?)

do you allow a dog
No, they do not allow dogs. We left ours with our Son during our visit. The Inn is comprised of individual Condo's so its understandable that the owners don't want pets in their places.
