Camped here for three nights in our small trailer. The place is a bit out of the way, but completely worth the drive if you are looking to have some peace, quiet and down time. The campground for RVs is across the street from the lake, but a short drive or walk gets you right to the water. They have...

We were going to take our RV up in August but our truck broke down and the day before our reservation I emailed Bruce who was so accommodating and he let us change the reservation. We have been to the RV park several times and the RV park hosts are always friendly and keep the park immaculate. We sat by...

If you find yourself at Newberry Crater on a nice day, stop here, grab a spot on the patio, and settle in with a glass of wine. Then order one of their burgers, and enjoy the view and the tasty local beef. When we were here, the server was very friendly and accommodating and she encouraged us to just relax...

We love it here and return each season for the peace and tranquility. The fishing is great and the scenery is beautiful. The best part is there is no internet or phone service and no TV so you are truly disconnecting from your day to day life which is nice for a few days. The cabins are basic but super...

We spent five days here August 2016. What a treat. The area is beautiful, the resort is very historic and nicely maintained. Employees are very happy and helpful and just being at the Lake is relaxing. It took us one hour exactly from Bend to get here so it is close by and approximately 38 miles. The resort offers many...

We only stayed one night and I thought the $200 dollar a night cabin was dated. I get the impression that you really enjoy fishing this may be the spot. I unfortunately do not enjoy fishing. There was no Wi-Fi, no cell coverage, no T.V which I can be ok with but not for the price. The store had limited...

I stayed in the Pintail cabin. It had good amenities and plenty of room, but the highlight of the trip was the fishing. My three best fish were a 19" brown trout, an 18" rainbow trout, and a 15" brown trout. The smaller brown trout was caught on a dry fly, the bigger rainbow and brown were both caught freelining.

Nice relief from some extreme heat. Kayak rental was great and the workers were friendly and helpful. Lovely, lovely lake and so relaxing. Cool breeze. We had lunch at the cafe, where the poor waitress tried, but was overworked--both having to serve and cut lettuce for our salads! They could use a bit more help. (didn't go to the hotel--just a...

The lake is great. We rented a pontoon boat for the day and almost every chair was broken. The captions chair was a flimsy plastic yard chair. But the rental was easy the guides were great at suggesting places to fish and chill. The access to the boat ramp was a far walk and hard for a stroller or wheelchair...

The Park itself was shady. The hosts, Dale and Teri we as nice as could possibly be. The restrooms were clean. However, there were only 2 and with no sewer hookups that does not meet the parks needs. There are 4 showers. Although on the internet it stated there was laundry, there is not. You have to drive 30 miles...
