The Crystalwood lodge was a terrific spot for a short paddling trip. My wife and dog all enjoyed the lodge and had a great paddle on the Klamath Canoe Trail. The enormous kitchen was a breeze in which to cook up meals, and the spacious living room was comfortable and full of interesting things to read. We're planning a longer...

I stayed at the lodge with my pup, Harper, in October 2016. Liz, the owner, is a great communicator. She was accommodating, hospitable and caring. I found the lodge cozy, clean and not lacking a thing for a girl and her dog. I cooked daily in the well appointed commercial kitchen and took long walks on the beautiful property. Sometimes...

Crystalwood Lodge is a dog friendly lodge with many things to do. It is also located outside the south entrance to beautiful Crater Lake. I have gone there many times to mush my dogs and every trip is an adventure.

Short review: My parents celebrated theri 50th anniversary there during a 4 night stay in mid-July 2014, and, as I write this 4 months later, they still talk about it as an amazing experience they will remember forever. I can't think of one thing they complained about or found disappointing, and we would definitely return in the future. Longer story....

I recently 9/14 stayed at the Lodge and found it and the owner Liz, to be just what I needed. Liz was more than friendly and not only allowed me to stay just one night but, she also did a doggie day care while I went to Crater Lake to ride the rim road. Unfortunately, do to time restraints, I...

This is a unique experience for the fearless--for those who want to try new experiences with an open heart. I admit that I did not realize what was in store for us when I made the reservations for our Crater Lake visit online, but I'm glad I stumbled upon it, because it was unforgettable. The lodge is located in the...

The lodge was in excellent condition. The rooms were clean and each had its own bathroom. I was there with a group and we had access to the whole lodge including a well-appointed kitchen. It was very quiet and peaceful in the middle of woods. The landlady was a fount of information about the area and about dog sledding. Although...

We all fell in love with Crystalwood Lodge and its owner, Liz. Sixteen of us stayed for 3 days. There was plenty of room. My son-in-law is a chef and he loved the kitchen. He made carnitas and Liz joined us with lots of stories about the area and her race in the Iditarod. Canoes and row boats took us...

My husband booked our stay online, and the site crashed in the middle of the process. He re-started, and we thought we had our reservation all good to go. Once we got there, we were informed that we were the only guests, and Liz showed us our room and gave us its key. That was pretty much our interaction with...

Liz gave a great orientation to the wood frame and wood floored lodge and it's a nice, quaint and querky living space. The kitchen is big and cook-it-and clean-it-yourself, so bring all you need to cook and bake because there are really no nearby markets, and note that some folks don't clean pots/pans as well as others. The king bedroom...
