We had been on the road all day and pulled into Government Camp for dinner. A friend checked his smartphone and picked this place. Doesn't look like much, not fancy, but good food at a reasonable price and our waitress was very nice.

I was in town for work and I went it I was expecting a better place . I got a cold hamburger , chilly rated like it was out of a can . Overall poor quality for the price , I eat out daily cause I'm on the road and I got a sticker shock eating here . Not impressed

We stayed one night while taking a fall ride in Oregon. The room was small, clean and comfortable. It didn't have micro and such but we didn't need them. It was all right for the two of us. Any other location, I'd say it was overpriced. There weren't more than three rooms taken for the night. The men/boys that came... More

I visited a friend of mine who was staying at the Huckleberry Inn; the room was very comfortable and clean. I had taken off one of my rings- one that is incredibly precious to me- and set it on the shelf, and somehow forgot to get it when I left. I don't know if you've ever left something in a... More

As long as you don't expect haute cuisine this place should not disappoint. Old style diner serving huge portions of solid food. Good selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We split the entrees between 2 people and didn't leave hungry.

Stopped here for lunch on my way to Bend. I ordered the Grilled Halibut sandwich. The piece of fish was actually good but it would have benefited from some char. It was served on a large hamburger bun that kind of overwhelmed the fish. The bowl of tartar sauce could have served six people easily. I watched the server scoop... More

I took my 26 year old grandson out for a few days of just hanin out together and one morning we drove up toe Government Camp from Rhododendron, Oregon for breakfast (on our way to timberline Lodge)/. What a pleasant surprise. He ordered a short stack of huckleberry pancakes and loved them. I had the traditional bacon and eggs with... More

Came here with my wife and we both had a slice of huckleberry pie with ice cream. Absolutely delicious . This place has a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu , but the huckleberry pie is just the best. It has a bar seating as well as booth seating just like in an old school diner. Staff are pleasant and... More

Beautiful location next to ski slopes in Mt. Hood. Went with friends who had dined there often and raved about their pies. They were right! We ordered a Reuben sandwich, fish and chips, soup of the day, and two slices of their huckleberry pie. The food arrived quickly and was piping hot - perfect temperature for a cold winter afternoon... More

Great hospitality, kitchen/eatery open all night, best maple bars, the size of a small car !! Close to Portland and kept nice and toasty when the snow is falling outside. An old fashioned but updated space without the fancy high prices--they are across the highway from skiing, snowboarding, hiking and backpacking trails. I have personally gone to Government Camp to...
