The Secret Garden is no longer in business. After some remodeling the building is now housing 30 Evans Scholars who attend the University of Oregon. It is called The Evans House. This is as of June 2016. Evans scholars earned their scholarships through good grades and caddying.

We had family here to check out the U of O campus (they have a high school junior interested in attending). The Secret Garden is right on campus and allowed them to stroll the campus area at night (to get a better feel for things when the sun goes down...good to figure out where the campus lighting is the best...

Our stay was only one night as a stopover on a long roadtrip. The accommodations were very nice, clean and comfortable. Airconditioning was welcome. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at a French restaurant, Marche.

The location adjacent to the University drives a significant portion of the traffic but it's like they don't have to try because of that. The rooms are nice, the Apiary was certainly large enough and well appointed. Reception was cool, bordering on professional but more of the "why are you bothering me, I'm busy" approach or "I should have a...

This is a lovely B&B! Our large room with bath, sitting area and desk was clean, elegant and oh so quiet. With a coffee station outside my room, I was able to brew an individual cup of coffee and read before breakfast. Michelle and her staff were friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our short stay and will stay here...

The Secret Garden knows how to do hospitality right! I arrived travel weary to find my key and a welcome message awatiting me at the front desk . . as I proceeded to my room (guided by the directions left along with the welcome), I was enveloped in the Inn's serene atmosphere. The common areas are bright, cheery and gorgeous....

The walking proximity to the University in a very peaceful neighborhood make this an ideal Bed and Breakfast for your stay in Eugene. The rooms are well kept with a modern bathroom. Plenty of common area space to lounge, play chess, read or chat. Mica was very helpful and brought us up to date on cycling in the area.

I first stayed at the Secret Garden in 2010 for the Prefontaine Track Classic. It was wonderful. Excellent breakfast, lively guests and a nice sense of community at the table and in the common area. I subsequently stayed there for the Olympic Trials in 2012, and for Pre in May 2014 and May 2015. The location and the building itself...
