Best pancakes ever! I just had to start off with that important point. We stayed at the RimRock Inn over Labor Day weekend 2016 for 3 nights in the Howling Moon tipi, and it was perfect. The RimRock Inn sits literally on the edge of Joseph Canyon at about 5000 feet, and is owned by Kim and Cabot Carlston. Kim...

What an amazing place! The view of the Joseph canyon is incredible, and the accommodations whether it's in one of the Tipis or the Chief Joseph suite, are impeccable. A lot of thought went into all of the little details to make our stay memorable. Comfortable beds with Pendleton blankets, fluffy towels, s'mores kits. Glamorous camping indeed! Kim & Cabot...

My grams, mom and I had a wild hair one Friday afternoon to pack it up and head out for a night in Joseph canyon. We called around and found availability and affordability for a nights stay in the Warrior tepee. We arrived after the restaurant closed but they had firewood waiting for us and even offered to make us...

We stayed in the gorgeous room in the main building. Arrived late, but our gracious hosts had dinner for us. The sunrise over the canyons was unbelievably beautiful. Great coffee and our hosts accommodated me with a gluten free alternative to the pancake breakfast. Can hardly wait until we can return! And if you have an RV, don't wait!

We spent one night at RimRock in the Morning Star Tipi with our 2 boys. What an experience! We were blown away by the views of the canyon and enjoyed both the sunset and sunrise from our tipi. We watched the most amazing full moonrise over the canyon as we sat by our fire. We decided to have dinner since...

We stayed in the 20' tipi. It was lovely. The only thing that would have made it better would be if one of the beds was a Queen. As it was, my husband and I shared a Full, my daughter was in a full and my son slept in his sleeping bag on the futon. We could have made it...

Thank you for your review. I like your suggestion of placing a queen bed in the Tipi. We will do that next year.

Stayed for one night as we made the drive between Yellowstone and Seattle on our fly drive holiday. We knew it would be "different" staying in the tepee, but loved the experience. The owners were welcoming and provided everything we needed. As at least one other review notes, it's a new venture for them. The remote location is both a...

We made a last-minute reservation for the suite at the inn when we were on a motorcycle trip coming back to Oregon from Montana. We booked at 3:30 in the afternoon for the room and dinner. Even though they had already officially closed the books on dinner, they found a way to accommodate us, and I have a lot of...

I reserved this special place for a Friday night BBQ dinner for 15 old college friends (Oregon State University, dating from 1966) from Portland, California and New York City. The owners went out of their way to make our dinner a special experience. From drinks on the deck overlooking spectacular Joseph Canyon to an excellent dinner served buffet-style -- my...

This place is remote for anyone not traveling the highway from Enterprise to Clarkston, WA. Cell phones don't work there. The new owners offer one special on weekend nights and on Saturday we had the rib-eye steak offering. The steak was cooked to perfection (even my fussy husband approved) and I loved my salad of beets and oranges. They were...
