I do apologize for your experience. We are in the process of updating rooms as we have recently come under new ownership. including new cleaners to address smudge removal from the chrome rather than just sanitizing the surfaces and repairing the tile where the previous...More
When we first pulled in we were like, Okay. This wasn't what we expected. I don't know why, but I expected more of a multiple-story hotel. However, the staff was wonderful to work with, the rooms were clean, and the views were outstanding. We ended...More

After a grueling 6-hour drive across Oregon to the coast we often stay the first night at Surfrider. There is something about sitting on the deck in our room at this motel and watching the waves that brings back that inner peace. The rooms are...More

This is an older hotel, but is really in pretty good condition. First floor rooms were slightly below street level (7 steps down) and second floor rooms are 7 steps up. One building had a ramp for easier access. Room was large, with a beautiful...More

The old set of stairs were becoming a safety concern because of mother nature and the beautiful storms she creates. We did not rebuild them again, instead we have upgraded the stairs on the side of the restaurant. They are now concrete and we have a hand rail. You can also use them to access the beach even at high tide. We hope this helps our guests enjoy their time at the Surfrider even more!
