We booked the Troller's Lodge for 4 nights the 1st part of October. The room was great with a full kitchen ( we have 2 small dogs that travel with us). We love the area for visiting both north or south at the various waysides and cities. We had a little accident while taking the dogs out at night (a...

The initial room we looked at was sweet and nicely appointed but smelled musty and moldy. Rick was anything but friendly and his wife told us how burnt out she was when I commented on the for sale sign on the street. I asked about pricing on an ocean view cabin. He said it was $175 a night. It had...

Trollers Lodge is a wonderful place in the small town of Depoe Bay. Very quiet area away from hustle and bustle. Variety of accommodations from your standard motel room up to multi room suites with kitchen. Part of the Lodge faces the ocean with a partial view. Simply cross the side street to a public access and watch the whales...

Arrived without a reservation, met Rick the owner, he showed me a street facing room, we booked it for the night. I asked about road noise, he said not to worry that the traffic would die down....which was our experience, not a problem. The room was clean, well appointed, with small personal touches. We, my son and I, visited with...

We are a family of travelers we specially enjoy exploring the Coast. Depoe Bay was where we decided to spend our President's day week end. Checking in was pretty easy but when we got in our little apartment, there was a pretty musty weird heavy smell in the house as if it has not been occupied for a long time....

Troller's Lodge was the greatest halfway point for the Oregon Coast. Our little studio was perfect for two with two dogs. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of pillows. The room was very clean and set up nicely like a Cape Cod cabin. Lovely accents throughout-live plants, pictures, beautiful dressers, desk, Direct TV plus VCR/DVD player, plenty of movies...

Last year we fell in love with Depoe Bay. Rick and Peggy were so accommodating as we did not have reservations, we had our big dog and we wanted to stay in the ocean front home. We stayed in the motel one night then moved oceanside to a clean, comfortable home with the most incredible view. This year we stayed...

It was the only place on the trip we did not really feel welcome. Our greeting at check in reminded me of someone who was having a bad day. There were way to many rules and signs for what you can and cannot do for us. It was clean, cheap and just okay, but we won't go back.

My husband and I have been coming to Troller's for a number of years. We have stayed in several rooms, each is clean, comfortable, priced right in our opinion. Rick and Peggy bend over backward to acommodate their guests. We will be coming back.

I stayed here with my wife a couple months back. I had a nice vacation expect towards the end. My wife and I come back from lunch to discover our medication on the porch. We went into our room to look into it and come to find out we had several pain pills missing from the bottle. My wife and...

This couple was here 6 months ago in May, not September. The "young girl, sweet and polite" was a new hire. and the only staff member to service their room. When these people reported missing drugs, the police were called and investigated. No charges were filed. The "young girl" was suspected and resigned. We would not keep anyone in our...
