The rooms were clean and spacious. Excellent cold breakfast, too. The on-site manager - Rachel - was wonderful, helpful, funny and very accommodating. She even contacted a friend to give us a recommendation of where to eat when we went on to Pendleton.

This hotel has been beautifully restored and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We'll be back to this hotel for sure since there are some great motorcycling roads in this part of Oregon. Great find!

Had a wonderful stay in this lovely hotel. Rachel was a great host. Her love of the area and it's people really shines through. She knows where to go for anything you might want to see or do. We were in the area to check out the new state park (Cottonwood) and the Fossil beds. The room was clean and...

This is a great stopover between the new Cottonwood Canyon state park and the John Day Fossil Beds national monument. The hotel is old on the outside but very new and charming on the inside. Very quiet and comfortable rooms with a small sitting area and good bed. Each of the two upper floors has a small common area for...

We had an amazing time..Rachel and Rob could not have been more accommodating or informative! Even though there were not a lot of options for restaurants in Condon, they were able to direct us to nearby locations that were very good! Thanks for all the "fishing" insights...hope you enjoyed "our catch".. Marie & Gordon

Nice old property with quaint features. Close to everything in downtown, great bar. Loved the sign in the shower asking that we don't clean our "kill" from the day there! Would stay again at this facility.

I called directly to make a one night reservation and spoke with Rachel who was very helpful and nice. I told her my husband could walk short distances, but we needed a walk-in shower in the ADA room. She booked our reservation. When we got there it was a tub/shower. I said nothing, but we did not use it. The...

This is our Memorial Weekend destination for 3 years in a row. We always look forward to it. This year we were guests of an in-house wedding reception -- what a sweet treat. (We did not know the Harringtons - the entire town was invited through a local newspaper announcement, and then all the hotel guests were invited too! ....

Beautiful hotel, main street setting, and an incredibly accommodating proprietor; we could not have wished for a better location for photographing the stunning Eastern Oregon landscapes. Not only was the owner incredibly helpful with directions and local information (restaurant suggestions, trail maps, spots for the best vistas), he also arranged our museum visit and had two cold beers on ice...

I spent the night of my birthday at the hotel in February, part of a weekend checking historic hotels in NE Oregon. The special birthday attention was a pleasant surprise, including warm birthday wishes from Rachel, the assistant manager, and a free upgrade. But I imagine she's pleasant and helpful whether it's a birthday or not. The hotel interior itself...
