Debbie and Steve Hilbert provide a wonderful central Oregon experience at the Lonesome Duck---you will not be lonesome with the gentle environment and setting, the Williamson River, bald eagles soaring overhead, and an experience you will enjoy and reflect on for years ahead---Been there several times and every time is better and more enjoyable than the last---good to know that...

I stayed in the cabin with 3 bedrooms as part of a group of 5 people. We had plenty of space to gather and to spread out. It's right on the Williamson River. I enjoyed watching the birds a the feeder, as well as the ducks, geese, and raptors that inhabit the area. If you are looking to stay near...

My husband and I stayed at the Lonesome Duck Ranch for my 30th birthday in late February. We wanted to go snowshoeing at Crater Lake National Park and with few options open and available in winter I was so happy to come across the ranch. We stayed in the Arrowhead Cottage and with it being the off season we felt...

We stayed at the Lonesome Duck Ranch after a last minute decision. Steve, the owner, handled the booking which was hassle free. His wife Debbie made us feel very welcome when we saw her later that evening. Suzie and Marshall manage the property and they were very friendly and also welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. They gave us information...

If you like a break from travelling and just want to relax. This is the place to come. Tom & Beth are the perfect hosts. Spacious comfy room - great nights sleep and delicious breakfast. Ideal for a stop before visiting Crater Lake. Great for fishing, walking or kayaking.

We stayed for two nights in August as part of our honeymoon in the beautiful Hexagenia Ranch. Prior to arriving we had been driving from place to place from San Francisco up the coast but as soon as we arrived at the ranch we knew the pace of our holiday was about to change; everything slowed down and we really...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hexegenia Ranch - the separate B&B part of Lonesome Duck. I was getting ready to write this review but then thought to read the two most recent and they pretty much cover everything I was going to share! Marcie and her husband and my husband and I were actually there at the same...

Our two nights at Lonesome Duck were perfection. This B&B is beautiful in setting, design , and hospitality. Set on a popular trout fishing river, the inn is modern, comfortable, and very well designed and maintained. Beth prepared breakfasts that were delicious and Tom went out of his way to provide information on fishing, kayaking, and areas of interest. The...

There is some room for confusion with the accommodations at Lonesome Duck. The facilities at Lonesome Duck are two very large and apparently well equipped housekeeping cabins, really medium sized houses, which will comfortably house six to eight guests. We toured one and it was vastly superior to most similar facilities. We stayed at Hexegenia Ranch, formerly The Settlement, and...

We stayed in Arrowhead Cottage on the banks of the Williamson River for a few days while touring in Oregon. We loved this place - the cottage itself is atmospheric; a real little cabin in the woods but well equipped and clean. We loved the quilted bead spreads and cushions in the bedrooms and, although it was quirky, the bathroom...
