While touring out west last September on the road bike, we stayed at this KOA in Cascade Locks. The Cabins were all in a very nice wooded setting, and the bathroom/showers were very clean! Some prior reviews stated about the trains that go by at night, but to be honest, it wasn't a bother at all, I don't think there...

The people are great here. Yes the trains are load but a very nice park. I have been is some with a train yard across the highway. Just use ear plugs. We would stay here every time we are in the area. We checked a lot of other parks but this was where we wanted to be. Even though my...

Loud! The trains are close, their horns ablaze and they come often - like 15 in a day and NIGHT! Don't worry, you can vent ear plugs at the office. Wooded campground. Has a pool and hot tub I'd never be tempted to use but - great effort. Other than that - hey! A pretty decent KOA.

Below is an email I sent directly to the KOA staff 3 weeks ago. I received no reply. Hello, I want to let you know about my recent stay but struggle with using public reviews because I feel like they are just a place to vent but not sure how really helpful they are, so I decided to contact you...

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Grounds are fairly well laid out, pretty, and clean. Great location for visiting the Columbia River area, including Mt. Hood. Grounds are not as grassy as shown on website, but are heavily treed and very shady. We visited with a 30' motor home and tow vehicle. We were fairly close to the office and...

This is a beautiful KOA. The sites are nestled among the trees. There are full service sites. There is a store with gifts and minimal supplies. Laundry and showers too. Okay all good...but...the train is yards away and go all night. So, while we loved it, we wouldn't go back. Too too noisy!

Beautiful park, but I'm writing this review at 4 AM because the trains won't stop. I would not choose this park again, or definitely bring some good ear plugs! When the first train rolled by, we were kind of excited to show our granddaughter. So we turned off the lights in our coach and watched the light of the train...

We stayed here for 1 night during Labor Day weekend. The campground itself if very nice. It really has that "camping" feel with lots of trees, gravel sites, etc. Sites are a bit tight, but nothing that isn't able to be navigated. The one downside was all the kids and animals; loud and unsupervised. We have animals too, but do...

This is a nice, well established park/campground. The people that work there are friendly and personable. The down side to this park is simply that the park is adjacent to railroad tracks on which trains ran all night long and constantly blew their VERY LOUD horns. I no sooner would fall back to sleep and another train would come through....
