We spent the last night of our week long vacation here and we're so looking forward to a swim under the stars. The cabin we rented (C) was very simple but sufficient. Two beds, one double and one twin. We were able to put our son in a sleeping bag on the floor and still had some room for our...

We were just passing by on our way south from Burns when we saw the sign. We pulled in and had a wonderful visit. We rented a private tub for an hour and it had clean, clear and odorless water in a spotless enclosure. Then took a leisurely soak in an outside hot pond that was glorious. You are surrounded...

First off, if you want lots of amenities, this isn't the place for you. That being said, this is a delightful get away spot for couples, families or other groups. There are shared, public bathrooms and showers, and a huge hot spring fed pond. "cabins" which are just rooms with a bed and chair. No TVs except in the common...

Crystal Crane HS is worth a visit to check out the offerings. We reserved a "cabin" in the "Sage Inn" online without having been to the property. It is essentially a room, one of four, in a long utility trailer - similar to what you'd find the general contractor working out of on a construction site. We had a porta-potty...

We took a long trip to Boise, ID, and decided to camp at Crystal Crane Hot Springs along the way. They have some private tubs with it own changing areas. Staff filled the tub and at 7 PM we were relaxing in our own space. The water is full of minerals and on their web site there is a complete...

Did a day trip. Pleasant surprise. Spotless and well maintained. Didn't check the cabins. They were full. One of those places that doesn't advertise because they don't need to. Pool was hot and clean. Plenty of picnic areas for a quiet lunch. Campgrounds were well maintained. Bring some river shoes. Pond is a lava rock base and bit rough on...

First night of a road trip of different hot spring resorts. Unique must see pool for the hot water enthusiast. Pool is 60' across, reportedly 7-8 feet deep, hot tub pleasing 102 degrees, with numerous hot and cool spots. Nice fine gravel bottom - wear water shoes for comfort. We were there during spring break, and the lodging (cabins and...

We have visited Crystal Crane Hot Springs several times over the years. Every time we visit we see more improvements to this very unique place. This year we were given a tour of the facilities and had no idea what goes into keeping everything working. We recognized some staff that have been there for years, this speaks well of the...

When I worked as a volunteer at Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, another volunteer the three interns and I started a tradition - that lasted all summer of going to Crystal Crane Hot Springs after eating supper together. We loved soaking and floating as well as visiting the burrowing owls that lived there and enjoying the sunset. We called it Our...

Stayed there in 2015 when it was crisp nights. The hot springs was just warm enough if one stayed by the water inlet. The room we stayed in had no bathroom, so it was a hundred feet or so across the gravel to use it in the night. Cheap, but not so convenient. Would have been 3 star except they...
